Yeah, Mysterious Matrimonials was full of those smirks by Abhijit Sir. Even though we see Daya Sir in charge of that, I think he has some competition in that department now😉

Mysterious Matrimonials and Wedding Blues, visrom are you sure that this has nothing to do with the comment that Lataji came out with about Daya and Abhijeet getting married in CID?

Sort feels hmmm this being chosen so soon after the Lataji invite ahem ahem.😉

Believe me, I didn't think of it at all. I just wanted to see some lovely duo moments, so chose Mysterious Matrimonials. The other one I chose because I don't remember having seen it.

Mysterious Matrimonials , the title is a head turner all by itself. Viewers are waiting to see whose marriage the case is all about. The plural in the second word makes us wonder how many marriages one will see embroiled in a case.

The opening scene that starts on a carefree note changes to a serious one and then injects a note of mystery with Daya demanding the girls to hand over the murder weapon! Light humour goes hand in hand with sinister happenings in this episode. The first one is Daya demanding for the murder weapon and the girls responding that the car is parked outside makes the viewers 😃 at the innocence of the young girls. Through out we see continuity being maintained - the two girls being in the room with the body and going out when Abhijeet dashes out to apprehend the dishonest ward boy and coming back into the room along with the entire team to see the small paper piece! This kind of continuity which is natural is hardly seen these days.

As the case continues, we see the powers of deduction of the team. Humour is again injected so naturally when the duo go to the newspaper office and are mistaken as two men who are in search for a wife for themselves. The friendly suggestion by the man behind the desk makes us go into guffaws and the expression on the duo's faces are priceless.

The humour continues when they go to conduct enquiry in the three lodges. The first lodge person behind the desk asks ACP how he could get to say his lodge was in the ad when no name and telephone no. is printed. ACP sir looks at him and leans forward and says "CID"😆 It continues when this man exclaims that problem is afoot in the other two lodges as well. Such natural everyday humour is missing now. This is replaced by Freddy being humiliated in the name of fun.🤢

The humour further goes on when in the lodge chosen to get the criminals, we see a guest commenting to another about the overnight change of staff and the reason for that to Daya.😊 It culminates when the duo hear ACP''s voice at the end. Humour so smooth that it was an integral part of the story. This makes me wish that this kind of pure humour comes back in the present day scripts.

All in all a soul cleansing episode to watch by all CID fans across ages.

Finished watching Wedding Blues ... I like the case as such ... I mean I won't count it in one of the unforgettable cases of CID ... but yeah it's a nice simple case.

I like the beginning ... a small start where they give an idea about what the case is all about ... unlike these days where the starting only takes almost half and hour !!
Then immediate switch to Daya sir telling his friend that he won't indulge in it unless they file a proper complaint and then straight to the main point ... you know this quick changes from one scene to the others maintain flow,interest and avoid making the episode dragging !!

One thing i really love in this episode ... look at the agility in our officers mainly Daya sir ... these days I find our officers dull and rather lethargic ... not their fault ... when scripts are such ki saboot un tak chal kar aaye toh woh kya karein !!!

This case has a nice good dose of investigation ... one who misses the 'investigation' element in CID these days can see some good dose of investigation in this.

This bald Salunkhe era was just so good !! I miss that Salunkhe too.

Simple plot ... proper handling ... nice dialogue ... team interaction ... a complete package.
Thanks for choosing this case Vis ... I really felt a bit refreshed and nice after seeing it 😊

Was watching Mysterious Matrimonials

I seriously love this cap ... when this moment came ... I paused my screen and literally adored this cap for some time looking at him, I miss this Daya badly ... look into his eyes ... the curiosity and a certain shine... I seriously love this cap !!!

Yup... me too watching the case of mysterious matrimonials... Days sir is looking very cute in that cap/scene Bhavs... 😊

The whole scene... especially the way abhi sir looks at the watch was wonderful...

and also the way ACP and abhi sir discuss the matrimony ads... "yeh ladki kuch khaathi bhi hai ya nahi" 😆

There was no special joke required... the dialogs were enuf to keep the viewers entertained

yes astonish and Bhavana. The era when CID was what it should be followed all the points which we find missing now and crib about. We eternally hope it changes and we get back our sterling officers who have the CID emblazoned on their self.

The portion where Abhijeet and Daya go to the newspaper office is loverly ( Just as Eliza Dolittle says in My Fair Lady)😉 Our officers are much more matured now. Why can't we have this light hearted moments now😕 A new generation of fans will bring in so much with it if that happens.

Finished watching Mysterious Matrimonials ... for the matter of fact I watch it every month 😃 ... It was a treat to the eyes ... Daya sir in full form ... a young cop .. with the feeling of "I have lots more to achieve" !! Adi sir as always excellent !! In some moments ... our dear officers at their funny at witty best !!! Had a lovey time watching this case. Some sweet moments ... some smies onscreen and seeing them on our face too !!

Mysterious Matrimonials is a must watch ,... one that you can watch a trillion times ... if not for anything else then atleast for what we call "Memorable moments" and those lovely smiles 😃
