The starting of Wedding Blues was very typical of episodes of the golden era: It gives you the background story without spending too much time on it AND without giving away everything(that 'everything' is later seen through CID's investigation). Also, the background music creates a sense of mystery and suspense. Wish they reinstate the same background music However, IDK whether to call it a flaw or not, but I did find a 'fault' : When Daya Sir says he's leaving, why didn't he? Maybe I didn't get; can someone explain that for me? Anyways, the circumstances of the murder served as the hook, climax and rising action all at the same time I think, and it was extremely intriguing to see the circumstances: how the girl is just about to stab herself and then suddenly the lights go out, then you hear a gunshot and then you see that the back door is open with a drunk bartender swearing that no one exited the premises. Also, the questioning process was much more civil back then: They would ask them sternly at first, and then threaten them, rarely ever did they physically force them to do anything. There isn't that human touch any longer. Also, liked how the writer always used to keep thinking out of the box, and didn't just limit the culprit to the list of suspects, that was even more enjoyable! Loved how the case guided the viewer down through the complexity, and it all made sense! It's like how you unwind a ball of urn! Very well made story, with beautiful execution! 👏
Saw Wedding Blues...an intelligent khooni story. I don't know why Daya's friends often take his help and land him in soup. 😆
