He is mostly approached with negative intense roles and such roles hardly give any scope to express love. A story of this kind is one off, very rare. This concept can go horribly wrong as well if not handled properly. I am so glad it was so well put together and someone saw that Adi Sir could be brilliant in this as well.

He can be brilliant in anything....just that most people want 'chocolate boys' to do romantic roles. And the stories are sooo stupid that I don't want Aditya being wasted in them. For that matter, I don't like him flirting with Tarika either. He can be shown as being in love with her without this meaningless flirting, which I am sure Aditya Srivastav himself doesn't enjoy.

yaar its only we four or five people who are actually reading and replying and definitely hum charon mein se toh koi report nahi karega in this thread and we are not discussing something totally different we are talking about Aditya sir and in between we are mentioning CID also,toh don't worry we can talk about it as long as no one reports it tab tak toh baath kar lethe hain

Aditya sir knows that very well... he always says thats its not possible for him to play the normal commercial heroes...his personality doesnt suit that! But i am glad that i could see him in a role which suits him soo well!! A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE CASTING DIRECTOR of HIGHWAY!!!!👏👏

and tht thing abt Tarika..he must be damn tired of these daily flirting scenes..thankfully they are reducing such scenes these days!!

you're right yaar abhijeet fllirts with taarika and i don't find love anywhere in that flirting i saw love in abhijeet's eyes during shruti's time but now its just flirting.When Abhijeet actually fell in love with Shruti we could all see it and feel it that's not somethind we feel when he flirts with Taarika and when Shruti left him we could feel the pain of Abhijeet and I don't think that will happen if taarika goes away.Even in this epi we could see him feeling for her and understand his emotions because both of them acted better than reality,now only abhijeet is the one who acts and Taarika gives her stone-faced expression so that chemistry doesn't seem to form

...and thats y the creatives might have felt, continue with the comedy part of it..i have hardly seen that TRUE CONCERN for Taarika other than in Aawazein..where he catches her burning the things...and the scene after that where he asks : tumhari tabiyat to theek hai? and also " pehle kyun nahi bataya mujhe..uski to main..(or somthing like that) comeone yaar, ek haath se taali nahi bajti. taariaka to Abhi sir ko comedy scenes mein support nahi kar paati..emotional / love scenes to doooor ki baat hai!

Ab yeh Taarika kahan se aa gayi. Acchi acchi baatein karo yaar buri buri baatein chhodo. Everyone knows my thoughts about Taarika, I want her to leave period. Aur please Abhi-Taarika scene to comedy mat kaho. Firworks ki creative jaanti hi nahin comedy kya hoti hai.

I saw flashes of genuine bond between then in two cases Aawaazein (aired 18-Dec-2009) and Sr. Inspector Abhijit (aired 19-Mar-2010) that too mainly from Abhi Sir's side.
