She was different from the usual, even her final decision was so different, may be impractical but still she stuck to it. She was different but believable.

This Veera was engaged to the guy, maybe just because of parents pressure or her own hurry to forget her past and get married to someone before anyone knows about her past.
And then the way the guy behaved when 3-4 guys were holding her, putting chloroform on her face etc. She probably lost confidence in her fiancee.
And then there was that 'uncle'. She would have to keep seeing him for the rest of her life and who knows when the 'uncle ' might go crazy and tell her husband something about her past?
She might have wanted to 'get away from it all' for a long time...was living with a BIG secret in her life. And there was this guy to whom it didn't matter. She felt good talking to him openly without fearing anything.

All that was there, she definitely wanted to break free. How many women stuck in these circumstances be able to take the decision Veera took. Even Veera said that if she went back she would get married to the jerk and would have continued smiling in front of that wicked uncle. But Veera was different than usual. The fact that she was talkative to Vijay itself makes her different. To be able to make that final decision she took one needed to understand Vijay and without communication that was not possible. Normally anyone would have hated Vijay, but here this girl was seeing her soul mate in him.

If they had shown him getting arrested and she getting married to that stupid fiance of hers then it would have been a bad ending to a beautiful story but as i said hats off to the story writer and director these people very well knew what to do where and when and how to write a 'proper' story.they know what would the audience like to see and cared about the viewer's point of view as well therefore they received such appreciations from us

She has seen that 'uncle' who took advantage of her parents' absence. And another guy - her fiancee who doesn't even make an attempt to save her.
And there was this guy Vijay who actually sells girls for a living, yet doesn't take a second look at her though they were sleeping in the same room. He could have done anything, but didn't. That would have meant a lot to her....don't you think???
Simple....she just fell in love with him. Didn't want to go back and live a life of deception and lies.

actually one cant explain why one loves another person..here too she didnt know why she loved him...but later she did give some reasons like she feels safe with him, etc which were absolutley true! Relationships and emotions are just so difficult to predict!!! Veera was able to take the desicion unlike many other girls..she trusted herself and went by what her heart said..u know Dillogical types! so thats what made her different...she felt that her life with Vijay was much much better than her life with Vinay and that world of his...the trauma she had gone thru when she was a kid was a bit oo much, so she felt not many things can be worse than that..and as the PLOT says : SOME HOW THEY GET EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED ...this somehow can never be explained...😳

yep I agree. That is one of the biggest qualities a man can have and a quality most loved/appretiated by a woman. I fully agreed with her when she said she felt the safest with him. And what I really like about the story was also the fact that she made the first move. She took the first decision and later made Vijay realize.

Even if she had gone back, what would have happened? That stupid fiancee of hers would never have accepted her. She was anyway 'tainted'. The whole world knew that she was kidnapped by people who sell girls. It was written in the newspaper too. So, no point going back either.

hmm maybe but I would like to believe Veera took the decision not because she thought what could happen if she returned but because she wanted to be with this man. It was becuase she did not want to go back not becuase the jerk did not want her back. Veera and Vijay both were like open books for each other, nothing was hidden. It was all out there in the open, and what could be more wonderful than that at the beginning to a relationship.

Love is just about having confidence and faith in your partner which this woman had in him.It didn't matter to her taht he used to sell girls to earn a living because now he was a changed man all she knew was that she was in love with him and she felt safe with him.She very well understood that its better to live your life with a man whom you loved and feel protected than living with a coward , she knew that whatever would happen with them in the future he would always be there for her, protecting her. This feeling that this man would be there with me in my good and bad times made her choose him than her fiancee. She decided to forget his past and he didn't care about her past.So as they say they were made for each other 😊

@shagnika you're so right this 44 mins episode made us discuss so much hum main bhool hi gayi that i'm in CID forum and not Rishtey-highway forum 😆
