Guys, I had noticed something while watching the 14th August episode. when the CID team went to see Daya, at hospital, Abhijit touched Daya and called him " Daya, main Abhi!" But why "abhi", guys? Daya and others alweys address him as Abhijit, never Abhi!

That's a nickname which he himself likes. In the talking parrot episode too, the little girl tells Daya 'Abhi uncle mera tota le gaya', which means Abhijeet had introduced himself to the girl as 'Abhi Uncle'.

Daya probably doesn't use it because he started off calling him 'sir', and he gradually got to the level of calling him 'Abhijeet' and got used to it.

awww man...!!! i saw d 14th august episode. it ws shooo good.....!!! haha d daya-abhi bond i hv been alwayz w8ing for..!! :p...!!!

and gosh i wan to watch the talkin parrot case....!!!!! grrrrrrrr help help help.....!!!

I love to call Abhijit as " Abhi" 😳 In fact, I used to use this abbreviation for my updates😃😳

I also love the scene! Ohhh, it was so imotional! 😳 In fact, this is one of my fevourite moments in CID. Wat a great performance! us scene ki toh jitni tariff kee jaye, woh kam hai!😆👏👏

me too, Like the nick name Abhi. its sounds so sweet. I always call him Abhi Sir and I really like when he said "main abhi" and when all the things start making noise he says 'yeh kya ho raha hai, hain, doctor ko bulao jaldi'. O soooo love my Daya-Abhi jodi. They are just amazing.

That scene was too good...well-performed by everyone...but I couldn't stop crying...😭 I don't ever want to see Daya dying.

Me niether. That week the week of 14 Aug 2009, I had a dream. The whole CID team was there ACP asked me for whom I watch CID and I said for Daya Sir becuase we don't get to see him otherwise. Daya Sir was there and he was looking down like in yesteday's episode. And they the immedia episode was this. It was horrible, I was weeping. This is not what I wanted after that dream. Mere one and only CID dream ka aisa end to nahin ho sakta tha.
