Change in Show Timings - Do you Remember?

When CID started it used to be aired on Wed, 9:30 PM IST. Sometime in 2000-2001it was shifted to its current timing - Fri, 10:00 PM IST. If I am not wrong this change had something to do with success of KBC. Does anyone remember when they moved from Wed to Fri? Did the show have any other air day and time?

i think this change has happeend in 2006 around April ...

I am not refering to that change. On 10th Mar 2006 the show was re-vamped and it became a full 1 Hour Show but the timings did not change then. The show was already one air on every Friday, 10 PM for half an hr before 10th Mar.

Sometime between late 2000 and 2001 the show was shifted from Wed to Fri. I want to know when did that happen.

yeah I think you're right; the show changed it's timings from Wed or Thurs to Friday. But when IDK.

Oh so there was a thursday also in between. I have confirmed information that till Nov 1999 CID was aired on Wed, 9:30 PM IST and in Sept 2001 it was aired on Fri, 10:00 PM IST. It does not seem that timings chaged after that. So if it moved from WED to THU to FRI, it has happened between Nov 1999 and Sept 2001.

I think the change to Friday happened in the second half of 2000 but I'm not sure of the exact date.

KBC had started in Jul 2000. So the chnage has to happen after that. Sony must have taken sometime to mrealise its affecting their TRPs, then worked on their Re-sheduling. I have read one of Singh Saab's interviews where he mentioned that CID Sufferend due to KBC and moved from Thursday to Friday. So I don't think you are wrong debayon
