Abhijeet or Daya?

😊Hii everyone! i am shagnika...i am new in IF. But one of the biggest fans of CID..been watching it for d past 8 years now! to start with, i wanted to know ur views on dis question. i know We all love ACP Pradyuman and every character suits the role they r playing. But in case( Obviously i dont want it to happen ever) if Pradyuman leaves...then who will b the best choice as ACP...ABhijeet or Daya or may be some new character should be introduced.plsss do reply!

Abhijeet is the logical choice since he is the second-in-command of the team and takes over in Pradyuman's absence. Something drastic would have to happen to him for Daya to be considered as the next ACP.

Pradyuman doesn't have to leave though. He can be promoted to DCP and still stay around. I have been thinking for a while now that it might be interesting for the show to incorporate multiple teams of investigators and alternate between them from one week to the next. Each team is led by an ACP with DCP Pradyuman being the Big Boss at the HQ.

Say we get two teams: Team A being the "classic CID team" with Daya, Abhijeet, Fredericks, etc with ACP Abhijeet as the leader. Team B could be a new cast of characters with a female ACP perhaps. One week we could have Team A investigating a case and the next week, it's Team B. It could be a refreshing change if done right plus it would reduce the stress on the actors who are otherwise shooting for a new episode being aired every week.

Hi sagarika. I'm Debayon, have been watching the show for 12 years now. I think Abhijeet is the better one because his second-in-command to ACP. He's very reasonable and logical and can break doors in other ways.😆 But I think there shouldn't be any comparsion between these 2 officers. Both are an integral part of CID adn what one has the other does not.

yes abhi should become acp if pradyuman retires

I'll tell you what....they are capable of making Daya the ACP.

Daya has already been promoted once. He was junior to Abhi Once. Practically its time for Abhi's promotion. If ACP leaves or is promoted then automatically Abhi will be promoted

i dont want acp to leave cid but if it happens.i will like both daya and abhijeet to be acp .

I think all the officers especially Abhijeet and Daya should be having a promotion. There's no doubt that Abhijit will be the next acp if and only if such situation arises.
