Thanx Misti for interview. Just a thought, serials are sometimes made into a movie eg sex & the city, friends. Why not Bollywood make a movie of Choti Bahu. There are lots of fans worldwide. We just saw the ZeeNite
mauritius in SA last night. The number of cbian fans was overwhelming.
Why can't this message be conveyed by fans to Creatives?

You are welcome ameetsingh4.
They can make a movie out of CB but I think that zee has to be involved in that because as far as I am aware the rights over CB are held by the channel and not the productin house. So I guess it depends on zee.

Amma would have been a realistic character if they had removed the burning incident and had toned down her evilness. People like amma exist in life. It does not matter whether they live in cities or villages, if thats what they believe in then they will follow it. Even now it is present. It is wrong but these things take time to change. One of my cousins has married into a very conservative Bihari family and her in laws are like that. So that is one of the harsh realities of life but this burning a girl and then going scot free is something that should not be shown, specially in a country where bride burning is rampant and happens frequently (Iam keeping Kanha aside here). That is what irritates me regarding the cvs making hindi shows.....they will show the ills of the society but will hardly show the means to cure the ills, or to put a stop to the ills.

As for Vishaka, I found it very strange that one week she thanks Radhika in the hospital that she will never foget what Radhika has done to save her from getting burned and if Radhika wants she is ready to give her life for Radhika.......and then after two weeks she is nodding at amma. On top of that she knows very well that amma is after Radhika and wants to ruin her life. Guess the channel and PH changed their plan again.

Actually, I like the initial portrayal of Amma's character and her role in the story. She was a hypocrite as most religious fanatics are. They showed her having no problem with Radhika cooking the food, but had problem with her serving it. She had no problem that Radhika was making prasad, rangoli etc. for the temple, but had a problem with Radhika going inside the temple. So, Radhika could do all the work but could not get anything in return. So, I liked it that the torture was all from girl's family and it was realistic. That's why I liked Dev's character so much because he was from this progressive religious family which was against all such customs. That's why the whole widow treatment of Radhika at the end was such a turnoff and brought down ratings. Unfortunately, chunnu munnu never could figure that out. They just thought that bringing back Dev as Abhay and having a romance scene or two with Radhika would compensate for lack of the story.

Angie most of the characters at the beginning were all realistically portrayed. Even Radhika who was abused had calmness in her.....her keeping to herself most of the time.....not sharing her thoughts with anyone........doing her job quietly, listening to the abuse and not retaliating and spending whatever free time she got either at the temple or with Nandu....Nandu was her best friend because he did not expect anything from her and accepted her for what she is....Kanha as her main support.....I mean whatever way you might take Kanha, the idol with whom she used to talk or her subconscious with whom she used to spend time alone. She always had a smile on her face even when the eyes used to show her real feelings.

Avinash would be a great host for Khatron Ka Khiladi type of reality shows. If India remakes Wipeout, obstacle course competion, Avinash would be excellent host, since he likes adventures.

Tazzi it will be interesting to watch him as a host and to see whether he will be spontaneous. Acting and hosting a show are two different things and hopefully he will be able to master the latter as he has the former.

Misti,

In your next installment of Jigyasa's quest, could you find out if moon and tides are affecting your threads as well. One day, this thread is a sticky and the next day it is unsticky and then the cycle starts again. What is the secret behind it?
