The same can also be said of Rubina.....although she was a bit rustic at the start but she soon picked up. Her role as Radhika was very good but it was as Imarti that everyone fell in love with her as soon as she came on screen. Her offscreen interaction with cast and crew always showed to me that she has a good sense of humour and I always used to think that whether she can translate that to good comic timing needed for comedy........well she proved that with Imarti.

So true about Imarti .. I remember the 1st epi when we only heard her voice, "eh budhhe" etc, the forum was already buzzing about this opposite character of Radhika ... I know I was elated and the 1st thought that cropped up in my mind was ... "yaaay", Kanha sent just the right person to "punish" amma ..
So during my Houston visit, Ruby and I were talking about this side of her acting and I told her, Ruby, you are more like Imarti than Radhika ... she smiled and nodded her head in agreement.
Just wanted to pass this along for inquiring minds !
Thanks radev24 for sharing your talk.. I think I should say because Imrati's charactor had a LIFE in her, that is why it just caought all our attention.. Ruby, you are more like Imarti than Radhika ... did you tell her that... oh my how lucky u r... thanks radev24, because it is many of our thought...thanks for representing us....

Hey Why3

I am really sorry that you cannot use your "excellent work" on this forum in your performance evaluation.
I have truly enjoyed reading your comments (some of them at least)----
I only hope (for your sake) that people doing your eveal are not part of entertainment industry and have nothing to do with this forum or Zee for that matter.

Unfortunately, my work is totally anti entertainment industry and I stopped using this forum for a long time at my work place because I was getting viruses. So, If I mention my work here, I will get the lowest rating.
Chalhov, thanks for the compliment.

Yep, I did tell her that. And I did try my bit in representing this lovely forum .. As someone posted, this being their 1st tour abroad, it's going to be a learning experience for them. So more we support them as fans, the better for them in coming weeks, months, years.

Same with this thread - is it a sticky or isn't it?
Someone had the brilliant idea that if Samta Sagar's post can be a sticky for an extended period of time, Avinash's post should be too.
But someone else had a "brillianter" idea that heck with Avinash. I guess, he may be too unapproachable by phone or FB. Lets just promote Samta Sagar! We are friends with her.... and SSBS definitely needs the publicity and that too in CB forum!
Your thread as a sticky only lasted for a few hours.....
Aaaaah the disparities in CB IF ......
So subtle only to the involved handful....
How do thee wield power, moderators!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Guruma i know its bit late to ask abt that but who are/is the Mods of CB IF..I was wondering if there is any way to contact them to ask them to write sth on IF main page regarding CB2 promotion n all..
Btw i also want this post to be sticky...so much of int. convo. going on it...

Rajsri, you have a good point. I liked the character of Dev because he was shown to have independent thinking. He was nobody's puppet and even Abhay wasn't at the beginning. That's why it was so frustrating to many of us when they destroyed Abhay's character at the end. Unfortunately, all these shows show sacrificing male characters who become illogical or inconsistent or they listen to either mothers or wives. Dev's character was more complete and the second season could have been very interesting with conflicts between him and Radhika, property related conflicts with Arjun and Chachoo, religious conflicts with Vaishali and the stupid mahants, waaris and the varnsankar issue and even conflicts with his own brother who was discarded by their mother. Finally, the most important was providing justice to Radhika and giving a lesson to Shastriji. There was so much material that was never used.

Why3 you always hit the bulls eyes..Every aspect of CB covered in this small post where all the logical and interesting tracks cud have been shown instead of making it look bad n then worse in the last few days/mths

Angie I remember during the kshma vrat time loads of people had written about this.....that Devki is protecting her own husband but emotionally blackmailing Radhika from protecting her husband. She would have done that during the time when the wedding truth came out but she was put in a difficult siuation by shastriji and his quest for the truth.......so he chose Shastriji over Vishaka, and choosing Shatsriji meant choosing Radhika. Amma was actually brought down drastically during the burning incident. Before the bride burning happened I used to get angry whenever I used to see amma on the screen but after that incident and the boils, cows and snakes encounter of amma , she became a carricature for me. If only they had kept her as the manipulator and not shown all these illogical stuff. So everyone was brought down excepting for Devkiji.

Actually, Amma's character in the beginning was realistic. There are many old women like her who are prejudiced because this is what they were taught. If the prejudice is combined with malice as was in the case of Amma, it can be very damaging. So, I could understand Amma's character in the beginning. They showed her as having no problem with Radhika doing all the work including cooking the meals. But, she didn't want Radhika to serve her the food. Similarly, she acted as all religious, but had no problem sending Vishaka - an unmarried girl with a married guy. Her brainwashing Vaishali was also ok. It was the burning track where she became this intensely evil woman and chunnu munnu never punished her for that. Last year, viewers were waiting for the track where Amma would be exposed and disowned by her son. But, then the burning track was unbearable and we all just wanted her character to be punished and be away from the serial. That's why Radhika and PF not mourning Shantanu's death was so unrealistic. In what way what his crime worse than Amma's?
Now, Vishaka was never shown to be very intelligent and could brainwashed easily. But, it never made sense for her to be brainwashed against Radhika after the burning track. Afterall, Radhika didn't have to save her and definitely didn't need to get burnt. So, Vishaka after that incident could never think that Radhika was selfish. It just became illogical after that incident.
