First of all kyunki got trp at times when most of show has 15+ trp n even KBC has more trp then kyunki n on that time there r very less shows n it has been 12 yrs back os why dicussing it now n Do dil ek jaan is a good show so it has 0.9 trp n the story is good though actress is not so good n some cc viewers even switch to that show n i even wanted sanaya to do lifeok show but i trust sanaya as she always do right.

According to me, the main reason for low TRP of the show is the mindset of the Indian Television TRP Viewers that reflects in their choice and preference of shows...

The majority of the Indian TRP viewers who are in their late 40s or 50s, prefer watching Saas-bahu sagas...that's why all K serials once rocked...but now shows like Diya aur baati, Ye rishta kehlata hain., Saathiya..etc are all based on similar subject but the CVs have garnished differently...(I mean less number of divorces, separations, remarriages ..etc etc compared to K soaps). People love watching family politics, a dominating MIL and a docile DIL...and where their husbands are merely used as props...those viewers don't want to watch something fresh and don't want to accept the role/ character of a liberal and independent women, representing our society...

Secondly, the entire system of TRP mechanism is very absurd as it doesn't consider the online viewers, whereas as the similar majority of viewers watch shows online...like I am a working professional and don't have time to watch TV at home specially in the week days after office hours..so I prefer to watch shows online...but this kind of viewership is not accountable for TRPs...so what's the use to discuss about the same...

Sanaya's previous show was one of the most popular and most watched show...it too never got TRPs as good as Balika Vadhu...as the reasons I mentioned above - taste of majority of TRP viewers and TRP mechanism itself...whereas in IF it was consistently No#1 for a year...

Now, lets see the ranking in IF of CC and its competitors:

Chhanchhan - 3
Diya Aur Baati - 11
Pavitra Rishta - 12
Chidiya Ghar - 52

In IF, the majority of non-TRP members are here and we spend our quality time in different forums..that's why CC is on 3rd Position...whereas the majority of TRP viewers are not in IF and they watch shows on its original slot, which is accountable for TRPs...Therefore, as long as the TRP mechanism itself changes its metrics, the low TRP is not a surprise to me!

BUT the difference is shows such as DABH which is most watched by the uneducated masses is positively affected by this flaw - meaning they show TRPs than that in reality is

WHILE

the other shows be it IPK or CC - r negatively affected. meaning they show less TRPs than is in reality!!

so yes its flawed for all. but unfortunately for us for uneducated audience mindset shows gain a positive advantage from these while love stories, etc that cater to the urban or youth of educated segments r negatively affected.

Also when u take the 4 segments i mentioned

1. Uneducated

2. Youth

3. Educated

4. Urban

now from this 1st category is hardly ever online thus the impact of such shows on internet is almost 0!

while the other 3 categories which would prefer more modern mindset shows, love stories, bold stories etc is more techno savvy and r more likely to watch it online, simply cz they have the resources and money to either by a DVR system to record and watch, rewind TV or online.. none of which would cater to TRPs despite that audience actually watching it!!

So well a flawed TRP system is unfair due to it affecting some positively and giving an unfair advantage while affecting quality shows negatively and putting them at an unfair disadvantage!!

First Of all sanaya previous show just in 3-4 months crossed BV trp in october it was leading on 9pm slot n it was on second position in starplus in TRP n if u dont believe me u can find d article in google n if u dont then i will give u the link n her previous show was on top 5 for about 5-6 months n even in top 3 n so cant be compared to cc n it was always no 1 on IF n This IF ranking people dont even know that normal audience just know about TRP n not about IF ranking n even if CC is no on 1 it can shut down any day,.
