Nyna, you can try the duolingo app to help with learning spanish. I found out about it and it seems to be quite popular and of course portable so you can practise on any down times that you have.

So I have been writing as I usually do. I know I have updates to post and I have been working on them when I am able to. I've been writing them out by hand to get my initial ideas down. In amidst doing this I came up with a nice idea which feeds well into the story and the lives of the characters. I played with it before and am still not sure how it will play out but I feel like it's something I want in the story at this point.

That sounds good. So Spanish it is. Now that I have decided all I have to do is start learning. Which is the tough part and then would be the persevering part, I am sure there would be times when I will simply throw up my hands in despair.

Is Spanish also similar to Hindi and French, in that it does not have a neutral gender?

I haven't encountered a neutral spanish noun. Most have been masculine or feminine.

That is sheer brilliance - and the observation as to how America "generalises" its heros and women - bang on. But what I liked the most was the last panel. It think is it reminiscent of a discussion that we once had, about no one being absolutely good or completely evil.

Thanks for sharing.🤗

And that site - will check it out. There was a site which I once use to frequent, that had a decent number of historical romances. I would read them because I liked the descriptions of the dresses and the lifestyles (British, Irish and Scottish) though the "romance" was more or less the same (okay, I hope you get what I am trying to say😆)

I was thinking of ball gowns the other day, they're uncomfortable but oh so pretty. Plus for me they'd have to be shortened a lot.

I love them too - okay the idea of being clothed in yards of silk and tulle, fabric that rustles gently and swings when you walk.

Never wore one, but yes that could be the reason I love ghagras and the current fashion of anarkalis, where the anarkali is very similar to the gown, in length and cut. You could try those out.😊

I haven't worn a ball gown either but I have seen some that I would love to try. Too bad they'd look very different on me than the models. Whenever I have gone to see occasion dresses, I've found them far too long for me but I can't balance on heels high enough to offset that.
