Hey Arya,

Keep fighting, sweetheart. It is tough. frustrating, heart breaking and soul numbing - but then there is no escape - after a point even the line between real life and escape reality blurs. You want to take it out, do it here, we are there to hear you out (though you might have to put up with crappy advice such as this).
Just keep kicking, something will give way.

There's only so much I can do T. You don't quite understand the extent of changes I want to make. Some aren't actually physically possible. And those others who struggle, have they no empathy? That's what wound me up the most.
And Nyna there's an escape, an escape I can't take but how I wish I could. At this rate one thing will give way : me.

I'm feeling a bit better than before atm, heard some good news about someone which makes me really happy for them, but this, this is a thing that will continue to be the cause of my frustrations.

Alamort - half dead of exhaustion
Noosphere - the sum of human thought, knowledge and culture

Degust - taste something carefully to appreciate it fully

I think I shall purchase myself a calligraphy set and some water brush pens next time. I am in the mood to work on my penmanship.

A Hi5 on that - I have also been thinking of doing the same. But since I cannot buy one right away (my nephew would want it, immediately) I have to wait for a couple of years. But do let me know how it is .

I had also been meaning to ask - any specific reason why you are learning Spanish? I am undecided between Italian and Spanish, so thought you might be able to help me chose😊

I chose spanish because I have a basic grasp of it from school years back. Italian will be next. Either one is okay. Spanish for beginners is pretty good, lots of resources and speakers to help practise. We could even work on it together.
You could still buy it and keep it for the days when he isn't going to grab things as such. Otherwise you may never get it. I keep things in preparation if I know I want to pursue it even if I can't do it now. Found what I wanted on Amazon so might order it next time I do some shopping.

That sounds nice and very tempting, so I think I should finalise on Spanish. There are a number of online courses as well as institutes in Hyderabad, so I just have to do some research and decide which mode of instruction suits me the best.

Your idea regarding the calligraphy set is good too - but I would still wait, I would be shifting houses in a couple of months and would have more space in the new apartment, so will defer the buying till then.

How are you otherwise? This thread has gone quiet, but that seems to be the same with some other threads I frequent, maybe because of vacations?

And I love the bangles in your siggy - my favourite piece of jewellery especially glass bangles❤️ followed by long thin danglers. Never like chains and necklaces though. Problem is that I cannot wear any of them to work, bangles interfere with typing and writing and long shiny earrings, somehow, I do not find them professional.😕

Depends how you learn best. Duolingo is an app that is helpful for language learning to get the basics. Then you could join a class to brush up on your conversations. I got a book so I am following the lessons in that. I realise I have a lot of vocabulary to learn which combined with the amount of time I irregularly put into my lessons means my progress pace is really slow. But I am on chapter three so it's progress and chapter two needed a lot of practise because I got confused about when to use ser and estar. I tried memorising the tables to help me. I'm not sure if it worked. After that I will see to listening and talking more.

That's really cool. It's nice having a place of your own and that will be keeping you busy so I agree, maybe wait till it's calmer.

I'm just being me I guess and balancing things out including my love affair with the only piece of tech I have left to acces the web - my phone. I'm also trying to do the stuff I set myself out to do. Yes it is quiet. I don't particularly know why. The holidays might be one reason, the other could be that people are too busy to come to IF.

I love this part of the music video daiya daiya re from dil ka rishta with aishwarya rai. I can't make the gif because I have no computer but someone on tumblr had this so I am using it.

I used to be an earring addict. I kept buying long dangling earrings but the strange thing was that I never wore earrings, not even studs. I don't even wear jewellery usually. I might try studs or a bracelet, but it doesn't stay for long. So I have these earrings I'll never wear and such and I know I have to get rid of them because I don't like them anymore.

I love the idea of make up, dresses and accessories but I simply don't dress up lol.
