Mahek and Shaurya do make a very interesting pair despite all the crying and begging coming from Mehak .
I think the makers are focusing on Shaurya Khanna Vs Sharma family probably because Sharma family seems to have connected with the viewers.
Shaurya Khanna Vs Sharma family is interesting because he is both villain in their lives as well as saviour.

Gulaal is definitely a classy show. Finished part1.Hope to watch part2 over this weekend .
Not interested in watching Mahaan nayikas or nayaks but they should be relatable with their flaws without grating on our nerves .
Mahek may not be Anandi but she definitely is no unprincipled bahu like the sperm bank show lead.

If chemistry between lead pair is the criterion to watch a show I would prefer The hotelier and the chef pair over sperm bank show couple.😉
