TV serials and the way they show the -Rise of a Business Woman" or an empowered woman 😡

sorry that I am going down the CS route again 😳 - makers had a wonderful opportunity in showing this facet in A - but they never pursued it for whatever reasons -- so have very less hopes for other characters

I am loving Baji - the dialogues, power play, scripting and the kiddos 👏⭐️ - Anuja Sathe and Pallavi Joshi 👏 - I think here are two very strong no nonsense women characters with very definitive goals.. maybe the strength of these characters is because they are real historical ones.. until now SO hasn't messed up with history.. let us see what they would in future epis..

do not know who the child actor is -who plays Baji's sister - she is so natural, innocent ⭐️

Yup, in Mehak, the writers have no option but to show her working 😆. She has no other talent, unlike Anandi.

To Anandi, every person became a mission. She was already strong-willed and fighting against ills of society.

Let us see how far they intend taking Mehak's business woman journey.⭐️

Gowri I think women empowerment and professional life for a woman are two different things.

Many times a woman who is highly educated having a professional life financial independence still may not feel empowered to do what she thinks is right or may not be able to stand up for herself.

Coming to Anandi - Initially I used to feel she sacrificed too much for the sake of her family life.But after watching the very beginning episodes of BV and the teacherji's influence on Anandi I realised that Anandi did set out to achieve what she wanted to in her life.

Her teacherji was her role model she ended up just like her role model despite all the ups and downs in her personal life.

For Anandi empowerment meant to be able to speak one's own mind and stand up for what she belived in and did things that she considered right irrespective of what family or society thought.Going by the story Anandi is an empowered woman.

She did have an identity of her own.

Her loving family made her financially secure out of their love for her.

Besides makers wanted to focus on social issues like oppression of women rather than getting into nitty gritty details of her financial assets. If people still have doubts about Anandi's abilities to earn a livilihood for herself after watching Anandi's story for eight years nothing can be said about that.

Binged on Gulaal episodes over week end as well as this evening too😆

Just finished the first part of the show.

Fabulous triangle. Who says third angles are boring? It depends on how third angle is played out.

Sushant Singh was rocking as third angle while Rahil Azam and that FL made such lovely idealistic couple

Have seen Rahil Azam in many shows and most of the time he played complex characters or stunt based characters. He was equally good in those roles and he was fabulous in this out and out positive role as a lover son and man who had so many dreams for his village. This is the second all out positive character I am liking after Shiv's character.

Entire drama between the members of the guy's family as well as the drama between the girl and the boy's family complete with fued between two families everything was such a larger than life drama but yet the portrayal of each and every character was so close to reality👏

It is so easy to connect with the family drama too.Who says family drama is boring? This is so good and full of intrigue and mystery.

The best was the ?Kinnar? Was he something else? He could make you understand the pain that people like them go through in just a five minute scene.👏

Story had such awesome antagonists in that third angle and that Kinnar

Totally blown away by everything about that show.

Wish I had known about this show when it was actually airing

Artee after watching the precap I don't think Mahek is left with any alternative but to open a business of her own😆

Hindi shows like to project their leads taking a lot of beating before they realise the need to build their own lives😛😆

Shaurie is one of classy Villain cum Hero on TV ... Hats off yesterday Karan was good his cold blooded attitude ...

Mehek is utter rubbish foolish... As Shaurie described her perfectly... Total mad gone mental ...

Food truck to support family fair enough plz leave that guy for heaven sake ...

Forum is having full on fun. .. i think that's why show look more entertaining...no fan war no analysis ...just pure fun ...regarding tracks ... Acting ... Mainly bash PH badly 😆

I have struck off JNDSD from my list cos I slept off while watching the episode the other day😆

Post leap the show lost it's grip on me completely. Before leap at least there was a hook to make you tune into that show. The couple were separated by circumstances which were beyond their control so you waited to see how they overcome those circumstances to come together.

Now the way they separated the couple by creating misunderstandings between them doesn't make you root for them and you stop caring whether they unite or not🥱

Other than that there is no story left in the show.

Mehek - Waiting for Mehek to realise that Shaurya Khanna has a cold storage facility that passes itself as his heart.

Shaurya will anyway fall flat on his face because of his own way of dealing with life and his problems but it is high time Mahek moved on irrespective of her beliefs about Shaurya Khanna's goodness which is only visible to her.
