Okay, now I'm confused as I have gotten two different answers. I am the regular for "Rating of the Week" but only a back up for "Funniest Scene of the Week" which has no regular. Does this mean I don't have to do the latter one?

Since, you had assigned your regular work to your back up then you do the back one if you can.

I didn't assign any of my regular work to my back up.

I had informed my back up that for the week of October 12th - October 18th, I would be unavailable and if we have a newsletter for that week they would have to do it. I didn't say anything about this week.

And you know what, since this is causing so much unnecessary confusion, can you please just remove me from all my back-ups. I would much rather do just the regular position than have to do deal with all this week after week.
