No jaya actually anar hasn't been butchered. Im liking the character. She is the only one who tells salim his truth. Loved her dialogue when she said agar kisi ek k liye apno ko chod de to woh khudgarzi hain mohabbat nehi. She hasn't said salim to leave maan, she said this just to prove that salim os selfish.

yes the background is weird. If we think about real anar we may not connect to it but the truth is there were many ladies who didn't liked to be dancers bcoz dancers were mostly concubines so I don't mind tht. Yes hating the royal thing is too much but if we ignore this nd view it only character wise its not tht bad.
