I was hearing somewhere that the High Court will dismiss the case in July itself... So, it won't take another 13 years for them to deliver their verdict. On one hand, she was a beauty queen, accomplished and empowered and what not, and yet suffered that abuse silently. Why did she never file a police complaint? Why isn't domestic violence one of the cases against him? 🤢🤢🤢BTW - I have read so many blogs and fan posts, and one of their articulate comments is often: "He didn't murder. It was an accident, okay? It is 'manslaughter'."I read that, roll my eyes, and wonder why such low IQ individuals even exist in our world. For one, these phans from the US, don't even know that Indian law doesn't recognize anything called "manslaughter", instead we call it "culpable homicide not amounting to murder". So, yes - it isn't "murder", if you accept the legalese to be binding on daily-conversation jargon; but even if people were to speak in the US, would they say:"Salman Khan manslaughtered the poor man." 🤪If only I were a more determined keyboard- warrior, I'd have suggested everybody to skip the word "murderer" in favour of "killer", so that the pointless semantic argument would come to an end, and really the stupidity of "He isn't a 'murderer', he is a 'killer', okay?" would suit me so much... 😳😳 😆

@bold: Hope that happens! But looking at the Amma case...it is difficult to expect any justice against the rich and powerful here.
Paper tigers and paper beauty queens...😆...feminism can get you places on the beauty pageant stage but I guess it has little use in industries like Bollywood where women actors are never treated in the same way as their male counterparts. Reasons could be many...Salman was a powerful superstar...enfant terrible... she was establishing herself in Bollywood...didn't want to haul him to the police station...didn't want to invite the media circus (which still happened😆)...etc etc. Look at what happened to Vivek Oberoi's career...😕...no one would touch him with a barge pole for years in this sycophantic, hypocritical industry.
