I dont understand the urge to join the bollywood after one TV show.

Tv shows run on looks. Not to forget you can spend all your life doing the same thing over and over again. The story lines here also have severe limitations.

But Bollywood is limitless. You cannot survive with one set of expressions and with same kind of angry young man or bubbly grl next door characters.

Pick any bollywood actor of today and compare the characters he has played so far. Also, pick one Tv actor and compare the characters he has played so far. You will know the difference.

I agree Debby. There is actually a lot of difference in both the levels. Bollywood actually has a wider range to cover. You have a story just for three hours (at a max) , while on television you can go endlessly. Stretching. Your image of a role can go for years to come. Since, you don't have a limited time, it can go for ages.

Very well said Debby but who will instill sense in the OTHERWISE almighty prodigies 😆...they need to bad mouth tv after they leave it ..n them Cajole fans onto watching their shows or movies once the BW TAGLINE limits ...n they say "there is work for everyone "

Of course there is work for everyone ..but they have to decide themselves whethere they want to do "unnoticed n cliche " side roles in BW or want to be the centre of attraction in tv 😆which is easeri to play n gets instant recognition

Anyone up for a MB discussion again.
Does anyone feel that polyandry was exploitative in case of Draupadi?

I mean she was forced to accept 5 husbands instead of just Arjun, okay not forced but cajoled.
And then she had to spend 1 year with each in turn and everyday her virginity was restored.

But the other Pandavas who all had 3-4 wives chose when they wanted to spend time with them.
