Yes, that is why I said she did not her words back. Kunti knew that it was Draupadi's beauty which appealed to all her sons. But I actually don't like the fact. Even if she would have caused a rift between them, was it bigger than a woman's dignity. And then at the end, she was blamed for Kurukshetra war. I ask why?

Draupadi was blamed because she insulted Duryodhan. . Besides, it was Draupadi who was blessed to have 5 husbands. Kunti was as they say' nimit matra' whose words remain as the final verdict. Just like Rama was to have the vanvas as per the curse but people still blame Manthara and Kaikeyi for that.

Makes me wonder if MB did indeed happen or it was a huge mythological construct to explain the way karma works . But then there is the archaeological evidence of Kurukshetra.

Even of MB didn't actually happen, I don't mind it! I am happy that it teaches us something strong. All the things in the story are relevant to this day.

Now that is debatable.
