Vinnaithandi varuvaaya, I liked because it didn't follow the conventional route, the boy and girl didn't come together, the girl is older than the boy. A cousin of mine is married to a Christian girl, and they didn't have an easy time in the beginning, with her family. So I could totally get what he showed in it. And I thought Simbu and trisha did a good job, haven't watched any other movie of theirs.
I haven't watched Sadma, just assumed its the dubbed version of the tamil.

The songs of the Hindi version of VV didnt turn out well. The original version was lovely. Same tunes in Telugu too. I agree story was unconventional. Simbu and Trisha both did a very good job. What I didnt like was the constant indecisiveness of Jesse. Throughout she is unsure. I understand arriving at a decision isnt easy, but once you did, why go back? And I found the reason for break up frivilous. Just because she couldnt contact him, she quits and leaves! Quite obvious why the hero keeps saying, out of so many girls in this world, why did he have to fall in love with Jesse. 😆

I know the situation with inter caste or inter region marriages isn't good. Problems always spring up. But while some get sorted over a period of time, some yield tragic results.

i think everything starts to happen once he moves... opens his mouth, says barun things, exudes barunness, looks up down, constructs weird sentences, then makes eye contact and ughfdhsjslkl a stylish gesture... that slight slouch, that who knows what it will turn into smile but watch out there it comes... and really, you stop caring about the funny hair or whatever. during baat days his grooming was atrocious according to me, very meyeli to use apt bong word, yet once he got going, he was cute, sometimes laced with hot... and that video where he is in a satin shirt three buttons undone, he can hardly be called handsome in the classic sense, but who is to tell my heartbeat or other beats that. very very very charming man. really.

Hmmm, so that's the bong look he he he. But looking at Barun's picture again, there's something about the eyes/expression that says "I'm naughty." 😉 Excuse my french but initially I was thinking "badass rock star" but decided to use the more tamed "bad boy." 😆
