I live in a college town, and the school is phenomenal- top 5 in the field I want to go into, and in numerous other fields. I love the school and I've grown up around it, so it's really nice.

But, still applying to Ivies. Stanford and my local school are my top two choices- if I get both of them, I think I'll only apply to Harvard besides those two and nothing else.

I just am not sure if I get in, if the extra money to go to Stanford is worth it. It's almost twice the cost.

I applied to three ivies. Stanford was my top choice and I got wait listed there. Bloody admissions! My second choice was Georgetown but I didn't made it there either. I was wait listed. So AU being the third, I took up.
