I'm so impressed that you girls know what you want to do at such a young age!
Areeba, what does your father cover? I'm sure it must be fascinating having him around and it's an additional bonus that you're actually interested in that arena - I'm sure he's proud!
Choti, is your public speaking event done for the summer now or will you still have to travel somewhere?
LOL at the counselor's question - she should know better😆

It does suck, and it's incredibly frustrating.
You know, I love to write- but writing these stupid personal statements are perhaps the hardest pieces I've ever had to write. It's completely different when someone is judging you based on 650 words that you write about yourself. And some of the topics- it's just so hard to pinpoint one moment where I felt "intellectual vitality", or something that I feel is undervalued in my life.People think that writing long essays are impressive, and they are- but I would argue that writing a succinct piece is SO much harder. Uff.Ooh! How do you like AU? Once you get to the top schools, they all offer essentially the same level of academics.Culture differences have always amused me- when my counselor asked if I was planning to go to college, i was taken aback. Growing up Indian with a professor for a father made it so that college was never an "option"- it was required 😆

oh I wish we had public speaking on our school but what we had was only moot court and mock trials. We made it to semi finals last two years so it was good.
I did do Online Model UN thorough. That was fun while it lasted.
Medicine is a field of opportunities! Do u hope to specialize?

OK... lets see...for work I am mostly in pants and shirt...at home shorts and tees...and casual is jeans and tops... I love those Indian Kurta tops in pure cotton or linen...I have loads of shalwar kameez which I don;t seems to be wearing...I hate skirts as I have to mind myself and it does not allow for the freedom of movement I wanted...for weddings I am almost always in sarees...
