I read that Sept be the end of RR (sab padhi suni, no real info from my end), which might be why honey the moon might have to be put in forward gear but then again ex BIL will put a stop sign in that for sure.

One question though. I went to Fatehpur Sikhri and there inside the fort there was the dargah of Salim Christi and it seems Jalal had prayed to this baba for a child and got Jehangir as a son and hence he was also nicknamed Salim. Is this show showing any of these incidents or Ekta Maiyya is just writing a romance with the characters just named Jodha - Akbar.

Sabun land is downright frustrating.

HSI - Why oh why is it so hard for creatives to sketch a character with normal human traits. The cousin keeps on defaming Aliyah and neither Aliyah reacts nor her husband but the moment banda tells that the mom is behind these things, both husband and wife slap him for defaming the mother great. I mean how hard it is to show a girl who values her self respect more than that of her mother-in-laws ? I didn't see Aliyah reacting to the accusations of Zubbu on her character but yup she has to rise to the occasion and slap the guy for naming her mother-in-law as the person behind the saazish. This when she clearly knows that her MIL didn't want her as the DIL of the house. Satyanash. At least the one plus thing is that this MU didn't go on for 1/2/3/6 months and was resolved in 1 episode with some logical deductions.

TP :- now this show is a prime example of how extensions are bane of the Indian TV duniya. Show was nice with the female lead sketched really good and being quite realistic but extension happened and now I feel like I am watching some other show - This is TP version 2 bas bol diya.

EHT and Mahabharat are frankly the only shows which are adhering to their said premise. I am loving the grandeur of MHB sets and the fight sequences and have to say the new cast has done splendid job of erasing the memory of the old actors and owning the characters. EHT is holding strong for me because the logic is really tight - I don't think there would be any romance or light hearted scenes in the show and frankly I for once don't want it. This is a revenge show and let the makers show it as one rather than adding khichdi tracks and making it something stupid. And this again seems to be a finite episodes show so hoping this will be really that and will end on the said date.

Maafi for prolonged absence, and shurukiya for PM's inquiring haal and chaal. 🤗 The problem has been an extremely busy saal resulting in serious loss of baal. Murphy has spread his jaal and has turned my gaal laal laal 😡 But kaa karein - everyone needs maal to make daal. So we continue to toil away without asking too many sawaal.

Anyway.

Souvenier deadline, classmates reminding me why I hated some of them so much!
Snarker in me couldnt take the borethon on the reunion "cultural program" ( dont get me wrong I love my friends and their kids but there is only so much classical/ fusion dances and singing one can take) SO I volunteered AGAIN to do gag awards at the reunion. The only thing that is keeping me going is the oppurtunity to unleash my snark on some of my classmates:)
