Yeah.. they say jinke haath 'garam' hote hain, unki mehndi zyada dark aur zyada jaldi rachti hai.. that is why people rub oil on their hands to increase the darkness of mehndi as it generates heat.. especially eucalyptus oil. Vicks has eucalyptus oil and produces heat, that is why people use it when nothing else is available. (When we were at hostel and participated in mehndi competition and all, then we used to put Vicks as we had nothing else at that time)

There was one very sweet scene of Archana and Sulochana long back during Archana Manav's wedding. One night before the wedding, Archana is crying saying how she will miss everyone and doing everyone's chores. Sulochana consoles her and tells this marriage was her dream etc etc then she puts a tava on the gas and puts Archana's hands over it.. saying now your mehndi colour will be even darker and become more beautiful... I want everything perfect for the biggest day of your life tomorrow.

It was such a sweet scene showing how much every aspect of a daughter's marriage means to her mother.. every little thing was a dream come true.. they showed it all very nicely in PR.

Such superstitious things are of course rubbish, but its still fun to notice and share.

haan anki's mehendi is still very dark... may be she wrote 'S' also 😉...

and again neha maheshwari has come up with a negative article on Ankita
