I was all for the German team but most of the game, I found myself rooting for LM...😆. I admire him tremendously as a key player and was saddened that he could not score or achieve personal glory in WC. His award became controversial too considering Maradona has spoken against it.

Truly believe that Argentina would not have reached finals without this ⭐️.

Team Germany played very well and their efforts were noticeable from the start, so I am not surprised that they eventually won and created history.

my whole family was rooting for Argentina...being Bengali,there are only 2 international teams we support (and this rings true for majority of my race)...Argentina & Brazil. so the disappointment last night was palpable!

Anita...DD's latest IV kind of confirms beyond any reasonable doubt that the show is scheduled to go off air next month,the promos of Udaan and the shoddy execution of the current/remaining epis of MB further consolidates that belief...so the Newsroom tweets about the channel's future excludes MB,i think.Honestly,I've stopped forcing myself to sit through MB epis these days,I read the WU and watch only it if warrants further attention.

I am listening in rather than watching and that too coz the show is rumored to go off air soon. Heard Monday episode had body double for romantic scenes as well. This show runs coz of the leads alone and if they can't be together in one frame, I have no hope either. I have mentally walked away from the show for abt 3 weeks now.

Have loved to watch cross-border offerings instead which seem really good from a story and characterization pov. When it comes to romantic scenes there, nothing beyond hand holding but that is something easily overlooked. I am planning to watch ZGH again, maybe Humsafar too. Deffo recommend these to you. Am watching Dastaan atm.

Ami, did u mean the Golden Ball award? Sorry, to beat this issue to death but even without debating if LM deserved the award or not, how are JR, AR and TM more deserving than him? With due respect to all 3 coz they are phenomenal players, did JR manage to take his team to the finals? Just see the theatrics of AR and his confession and compare it to the calm composure of LM, who ends up being a better role model? TM scored a total of 5 goals and 3 of those came in one single game against Portugal (ecstatic TM did that and increased USA's chances to advance to the next round 😛). Now are we to expect the golden ball to be awarded based on one game or the entire tournament? Wrt Maradona calling it a marketing gimmick, FIFA as an organization is an even bigger marketing gimmick of this century, so I rest my case after this tirade 😛

Was myself wondering why the clarification could not be issued immediately, rather than 2-3 weeks later and stop the problem from escalating or becoming an issue in the first place? Pretty similar to Archana Taide's redress efforts when her iv on IF created an uproar and certain statements were excluded right away.

all seemed fine till a few months ago when VD came back. they were both quite happy. so whatever happened has to be recent few days prior to his bday I guess. when were they last socially seen together outside MB or its promotions..I can only remeber her party for winning Jhalak..were there other occasions

Barely watching the show these days but with what little I have seen, they are present with other actors.

Both intense but in a different way. OB is more intriguing and thrilling with usual western essentials of violence and sex added to the mix...Seen up to episode 7 and can't wait to find out what is going to happen in the next episode. Seen Kasima, Allison, Sarah, Beth, Helena and few more. Wow, what an actress who is portraying all these diff characters...👍🏼

Dastaan started off very enjoyable for me with the first 7 episodes or so. Am up to episode 12 and it has become extremely grim with partition. The focus seems to have shifted more to the events atm and am waiting for characterization to come to fore.

Do want something easy to go along with these two above to end on a lighter note since neither MB nor KKB make the cut. Have to find something to go along with GOT too once I am caught up with OB.

Shaadi and SR once again in MB 😆 DD in her iv herself could not remember which # shaadi this was and even her attire was a repeat this time...from what I saw yesterday, SR was shot before the marriage. Maybe shaadi etc. helps with the trp audience, coz the magic is not working on me. The charm is gone and not even DD-VD combo is able to revive that

TM is fantastic with her being a different persona for each clone. Just the make-up alone for Helena (or Elena) with razor marks must be taxing. Based on story so far, still thinking that Sarah is the human one coz all the others know they are clones, whereas she did not know and moreover she has given birth the natural way when compared with Allison who has adopted kids.

dastaan does get heavy and req breaks plus I donot ncessarily agree wth the POV

For me, the first 7-8 episodes had more focus on both the leads considering they were meeting and falling in love. With the partition (and separation), focus is more now on the events with the incidents that the female lead is going through alone. The male lead has appeared for a very limited time during the Partition, so am missing the interactions and am curious to his reaction since Bano has been raped.

GOT is very heavy duty too. and I would have prefered sex scenes to be toned down. Even though I watch alone it gets too much. and it frustrates me that everyone I root for ends up dying.

There doesnot seem to be anything light in terms of soaps. sad

I saw the first episode of Aunn Zara and found it so OTT that did not bother watching the rest but it is being recommended too. Have u seen it?

Any1 seen dawn of planet of apes. got bored and wonder y all movies have to be 3D.it was utter wastre. y is it getting such good reviews?

Wondered abt that myself ever since I saw Tron Legacy in 3D. After watching Avatar in 3D, TL was a big let-down. The movie was good just the 3D effects looked fairly lame. A Google search revealed that movies are usually shot in 2D and only certain scenes are converted to 3D to keep the costs down. Avatar was an expection coz it was shot in 3D. I saw the Rise movie and liked it but the preview of Dawn was not exciting enuf with a different star cast, so will catch it when it airs on premium channels.
