Many in the forum initially sympathized with poor old ST because only been sweet to them but then there are always smart ones who recognize that he is only instigating fans to ensure extension and probably time slot change because there are far more serious concerns than trps to file PIL.

Ami, logic does not reside in that show anymore. Forget logic, the dialogues do not match up to the events anymore. To give one example, I saw an episode where they were planning to move to a new place of residence due to security reasons. In that episode, Samrat was telling KcM that there is no need to worry coz by moving they will continue to have visit from old clients and they will gain new clients as well. Now if the old clients know where they will be moving, how is the move credible for security reasons😕?

HSKD seems to be a watchable fare.same old story but nice refreshing treatment as per reviews.

I expect germany to win hands down. they are a better team more rested than arg who had to go through agonising penalties a day later plus messi seems to be tiring out in knockout stage. so germany wld def be favs plus their record against arg in wc is good. now only the Pope can save Arg

Ahann Bahnni, glad u joined in soccer discussions 😃. This is why I do not like dependence on just one player in a team that it psychologically affects the entire team when he is not playing. Even tho Neymar Jr came today, it was not sufficient 🤢. I saw the two Neds goals in the first 18 mts., and walked away to run some chores instead. Did not want to see a repeat of another humiliating loss. At least the gap was lot less this time.

Had read an iv of KS wherein he said that won't be leaving TV and that reminded me of Ram Kapoor's iv and we know how that turned out.

Colors has started airing promos of the new show that will be replacing MB(hopefully!!)...Udaan,story seems to be about children in bonded labour.

So which of the Ambanis has a stake in Colors?? still doesn't guarantee a secure tenure if it's not proving to be a money maker for Reliance

Ever since Sony lost the Betamax (do u remember that device?) war, there has been a constant effort of businesses acquiring either a stake in studios or channels coz as we r moving toward a digital revolution, controlling content has become very important. Post Betamax debacle, Sony acquired Columbia Pictures in USA and ensured their win in the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD war. Now, Comcast (a one time cable tv provider) has acquired stake in Universal Pictures and some tv channels too, otherwise they were on the verge of extinction given the viewers interest in streaming at their convenience rather than watching the old fashioned way. I am thinking the trend is extending to Indian corporate world too and if I am not mistaken, it is Mukesh Ambani who acquired the stake to complement his telecom business. Reliance will have deep pockets to withstand some losses initially till they can turn around this company. Reliance might not have paid a premium price considering the channel's financials were not that great to begin with.
