hi ladies...sorry have been AWOL for a considerable while!😆

hopefully this is the last week of my backbreaking workload...am D.R.A.I.N.E.D to say the least!!!!

so what are we discussing??

MB...how come it has managed to trump BI & RR in the TRP race???😲😲😲 that was unexpected especially since the story+execution is at a record low and the leads have been replaced by BDs 🤢...however the few drops of romance in the last epi or so has been a treat for my DVD starved eyes 😳😉

The Ukraine aircraft disaster was horrifying!! Putin is trying to wash his hands off it while the media claims that it was pro Moscow/Putin rebels who shot down the plane...and now the culprits are trying to erase all evidence that will solidify media's allegations. But at the end of it all my heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives...cause when all this is over they will be left to pick up the pieces and carry on.

As UK enjoys an Indian summer...I seek cool, shady places far from the maddening crowds(read sun worshippers) on days off...accordingly I spent this afternoon enjoying not one but two giant ice cream sundaes doing nothing by the river side ...blissful!!

Really makes me wonder what they are showing in RR and BI that its ratings are below MB 😉.

Considering majority of the passengers were Neds, they are bound to demand some answers. Let's see where the chips fall. Either way, this is extremely sad.

Bahnni: 🤗

Anyone watches Arrows?

and what a truckload of bullshit

Actor Ashish Sharma absolutely respects and looks up to producer Saurabh Tewari.

Reason? He is awed and inspired by Tewari who made Rangrasiya (Colors) a success story amongst television lovers with his hard work and determination.

Ashish also reveres the fact that when many producers, due to pressures of ratings, move away from the initial conceived storyline, Saurabh stuck to his guns and lived his dream of telling a story differently and as perceived by him.

"Saurabh conceptualised and promised us something as a producer and he is fulfilling it. In fact, he has gone way beyond to fulfill his commitment and make this show a success. Who makes characters that are so edgy these days? No one wants to take the risk but then I believe that things need to change to improve the quality of Indian television. In fact this era is all about the change with a lot of skilled producers coming in the picture."

He also feels lucky to have a co-star in Sanaya Irani who is extremely caring and understanding. "Sanaya is very cooperative and receptive. She also takes good care of me on the sets but we are not best of friends. I'd say that we have a great working relationship. She is the most professional co-star that I've come across. She does not waste time on the sets."

Lastly he goes on to add, "Rangrasiya is amongst one of those shows that give you a good night's sleep. You know that you can proudly tell others that you were a part of such a show when you're old. I am extremely proud of this show and my team."

Way to go, Ashish!

Nope, but is it good? Managed to watch 2 episodes of OB yesterday 😃

🤣😆🤣 ST himself says he is doing everything to gain TRPs so that the show does not get axed!!!

aaha
but talented family mother and both daughters 😊

Will agree to that one...the mother and daughters are very talented and then if you add Naseer into the mix, talent galore. I will wait to hear ur opinion of the movie first before venturing to view it. Have not seen the Sarabhai show.

OB is difficult to resist once started

Yes, it is ... Helena is back on but am now thinking she might easily switch sides. Sarah and Kira can't have a better shield than her and she responds very well to the mother-daughter duo rather than harming them. Kira responds well to Helena too. The bodily harming oneself seems pretty similar to Opus Dei custom from the DaVinci Code, if memory serves.

Edit - have to say I like Kirron Kher a lot too

I still have 2 doubts...
Why did Ida (pak heroine) come to ind with dheerus dead body
And how did they let Noor off in kuala lampur with a clean chit...scratch that. anything is possible with sports governing bodies

Also they should have shown a lil more of veerus transformation from one sport to another by editing alil bit of 1st half stuff.
But over all a nice movie with mostly good actors save a couple of them.

From what I remember, she become friends with bro's gf and the fact that she felt the boxer from Pakistan did not play fair which resulted in Dheeru's death, maybe made her feel guilty enuf to accompany his gf to India.

The scene I remember the most from the movie is when Dheeru's body is brought back to India. The mom and bro are waiting to receive the body and the gf is accompanied by the heroine.

Sad but true

It wasn't exceptional but a deffo watch coz the storyline was different and well done. Will try to watch it again soon.

Took a break from OB yesterday and watched Total Siyappa, which turned out to be a total waste of time and deserves a miss.
Have seen What a Girl Wants, which explores a father-daughter relationship and how they connect inspite of not having met each other. Khoobsurat seems very different from the preview.
