What I love about Gulzar is that he knows just what to say. Feels just what you feel and says just what you want to say, and says it even better than you could. He is also adaptable to change. He is trying to adapt to modern lyrics. He is constantly challenging and inventing himself. And he is brilliant in everything he does. He does everything spectacularly.
Yes, Masoom, Andhi, Ijazat... they bring tears into your eyes. Have you listened to his poetry recitals? He is a gm of a man. Words, they are so intoxicating in the hands of a right man.
