I am glad that you are having a good experience so far.

I too never had a bad experience in this country.

The PDA kind of stunned me, maybe, because I am old fashioned,

I guess. But as I said, now it does not bother me, here or India.

Kind of fine tuning my brain, I guess.

I remember you mentioning that you liked Mass over Cali... My

husband prefers that too.

But it must have been tough to have friends who are into such

things and you are not. How were you able to still be with them if

you are not able to be one of them???

Well it was. I wrote about this few days back, but looks like all of you missed out on reading it. They used to drink and party. But I gradually realized they are not bad people. I took some time to trust them all, and was very cautious. They proved that my prejudice towards people who drink, was so wrong all along. Within few months, we formed our own group, and everyone stopped going to those parties. 😃

We started having our own get togthers at our home. 😃 But yeah, drinking was still a part of it and I used to be content playing the DJ and enjoying everyone's drunk blabber.

What I learned from this? Never to judge people from 1 or two habits of theirs. It does not define their character. Besides, when yo go out and meet new people, you have to adjust, unless you prefer being a hermit.

To answer your and Krithika's questions, my friends were not into weed and all that dancing stuff. They just enjoyed drinking. But here, it doesnt take much to be invited to any party. You have a nice friendly chat with an American collegaue, and you are invited to a party over the weekend. That is how we used to be invited.

But all my friends were good human beings. That is all that matters. 😊

Agree with what you say and I share the same opinion..

You cannot judge anyone because of their certain habits..No one is a saint...

But when you were talking about weed.. that is why I asked you... because sometimes

it can become a constant battle within us when you party with them..

But as long as they are not into that and just normal drinking...that is good enough.

Party drinking is very common everywhere and it is not something to look down upon.

Party drinking is very common everywhere and it is not something to look down upon.

Totally Krithika. I must admit, being the youngest in my entire clan, I was a pampered child. I used to view life from rose colored glasses, until it gave me few shockers. Everyone who thinks life can be perfect needs it. 😊 That is how people learn and become stronger.

Okay, I want to share a weird dream I had last night. Please don't laugh at me. It was so weird and I don't know where it came from. It stayed with me the entire day, in a nice way. So I saw, that I am at my own home with my parents. I could see my Mom and I knew Dad was around. Suddenly my Dad comes inside my visible frame and tells me with a smile - he is back. And I have no idea which "he" my Dad is referring to. And suddenly out the corner of my eye I see a little kid running towards me. I don't recall his face, but I remember feeling that he is the cutest and I love him and he loves me. And suddenly I realize that I'm not this young, I'm older and the kid is my kid and I'm his mother. He runs up to me and I pick him up and hug him and he is laughing and I'm feeling so happy. Then I wake up.

I don't understand the meaning of this. Whole day I kept on thinking about this. It confused me but it didn't bother me. The kid was wearing an orange t-shirt that also I remember. Am I a total nutcase?

Enough of my bakwaas philosophy. 😆

Coming back to MB, I don't understand what the makers have in their mind. We have Paddo's curses in effect, to snatch away Madhu from RK, and make him yearn for true love. Today we had the maulvi in dargaah, tell Sultan that not everyone gets everything they ask for. So, Madhu na Sultan ki, na RK ki. Is Mukku cominn back, to claim his love? 😕 😆

Why don't I feel an iota of sadness for Sultan? Is that too mean of me? 😈

Why did I feel a lil bad for Deepali today? Misplaced emotion contagion has caught me as well?

The way I see it is, viewers will feel involved with a character, in thir anger/hurt/love and every other emotion, when the character skecth is convincing and cosistent. Here, CVs are highlihting Sullu's pain so much, I am sure with a motive to garner sympathy. But the characteris so clunk, that I have a complete disconnect with all his emotions. 😡

Coming to Deepali, she has been the most consistent character inMB, even more consistent than the leads. That is why, today, she managed to move me with her anguish, hurt and tears. Its not exactly sympathy, but its just the connect with the character. She was like a wounded tigress today. Even previosuly, she has managed to evoke disgust in us, when she is supposed to. SM was really a show stopper today. She outsmarted VD with her performance in RK-Dips scene. I really hope they do justice to her character.

Of course, other fact that matters is the actor portraying thes characters. AR is just so so bland. He can't act to save his life. He seriously needs a billboard to convey his emotions. SM is fabulous as Deepali. For me, she comes next to VD in MB cast for their perfection in acting.

On another note, DD already looks so pale and tired.
