I have the entire Friends series all episodes till the end. But not the time to watch it. The same with how I met your mother.

I haven't seen the other shows you peeps mentioned.

I am always curious about other countries, the difference in the lifestyle never fail to intrigue me.

When I first came to the US, their culture and lifestyle was a big shocker for me...I was 22 😆
coming from a very conservative family...
But now after 15 years, nothing can shock me..😆
what i have realized though, is that , what is perceived of the native Americans is very
different from what they actually believe in... I guess all that thanks goes to Hollywood for that..

When you say native Americans do you mean those red Indians that Hollywood movies show? With the feathers in the hair and all that ..

When I wrote that, I was thinking all of you are going to think that
No, that is not what i meant..
I meant the original Americans - born and brought up here...the whites..
Because now the country is filled up with immigrants from all over the world.
The original Americans are there in just a few pockets around the country..

I love Friends. Seinfield, Everybody loves Raymond and Sex and the City are all from the 90s. I have seen Sex and the City in bits and pieces, but not enough to form an opinion. But its on my watchlist. But I didn't like the 2 movies they made about it.

ER and CSI (all of them - Las Vegas, NY, the normal one) all are my favorite. But they are huge and I don't know how am I ever gonna see all of them.

HIMYM is good but it got bad after Season 5, but this season finally revealed the mother. Big Bang is mind blowing.

You love sitcoms Krithika? Do you watch New Girl? Its fairly recent.

The description that you gave was 😆...
But the fact is both my kids read about those "native Americans"
as part of American history...
I read about Indian history..
Now my kids read about American history, even though they may
have Indian ancestors, they are Americans by birth..

Sorry.

What little I know of America is what we studied in school and what I understand from movies.

But I get the feeling that they are a very snobbish lot who believe completely in their own superiority. No idea why. Maybe it is because in every alien invasion, the invasion happens in US only and the US is " the only country that stands between earth's freedom and slavery" or something like that. Atleast in our Hindi movies only India is in trouble.
