Mridu
That is why I said "perceived"...
It is very different when you live your life over here...and understand
how the people actually are...
But i dont deny it... They are snobbish and do have that
superiority complex about themselves.. But not all are like that.

He is playing along or has he seriously lost it? Sar ke baal se lekar pao ke nail tak, he is in love? If this is true, then for the first time since Madhus plan started, I am feeling a little bad for him.
And Madhu ke bare me to no comments.

no doubt Ananya..RK is genuine this time..he is in love...

Amritha, she will be BBB'd in both the cases..infact in ALL the scenarios now...if she forgives RK, Madhu fans will bash her 🤣 if she forgives him in reality and Dipali proves that she was onto a revenge mission, she'll be caught , phir all of us will bash her for THINKING abt this idiotic plan 🤣 if she doesn't forgive him and executes her plan, all RK fans will pounce on her like RK haters did on RK on the unwedding day...RK ka ek aansoo toofan leke aayega on the forum 🤣 the only plausible ending for this track , which will make everyone happy, will be that RK refuses to marry her after he knows abt her "grand plans" , he sets her free ..in this scenario, it's very imp. that he doesn't take this as her betrayal...

Sorry.

What little I know of America is what we studied in school and what I understand from movies.

But I get the feeling that they are a very snobbish lot who believe completely in their own superiority. No idea why. Maybe it is because in every alien invasion, the invasion happens in US only and the US is " the only country that stands between earth's freedom and slavery" or something like that. Atleast in our Hindi movies only India is in trouble.

🤣🤣

So true. Any of you saw Day After Tomorrow. I kept thinking only these handful American people are being taken to safety, whatever happened to the rest of the world! Atleast in 2012 they showed the entire world when the apocalypse began.

Well atleast I got something somewhat right. 😊
Pls Tell me weirdest thing you saw there when you first arrived. I mean what stunned you the most?

And now Amritha --- the inquisition shifts to you. What are the people in Singapore like? I didn't interact with many people there to make any conclusions.

😆😆

I saw that movie. It is one of the many which made me think like this. 2012 was better. But I couldn't believe that America had a whole ship to itself while Germany, Spain, Italy shared one. China and India also shared a ship. I mean really? China and India? The two most populous countries?

Things that stunned me were -

How they had no qualms, absolutely no qualms, in discussing their innermost private life
over the media.
The PDA that was so common between all sorts of couples 😉, now which i am not so bothered
about.

How they did not care - men and women - as to how they are dressed in public and be least
bothered as to how it is viewed by others.

I don't know if i would say any of this is weird.. but they definitely stunned me.

Well Mridu, I've been about 2 years now, so I won't claim to know too much about Singaporeans! Especially since I'm a stay at home busy juggling a baby and MB, my interaction with them are just about marginal, restricted to saying hi or bye in lift lobbies, or while in public transport! I find them fairly polite, but have to say distant, considering u find people friendlier in Malaysia, even when I was there just for a short visit! So my husband tells me as per a survey Singaporeans are said to be the most emotionless people among all countries! Even my Mother in law said the same about people here, when visiting, she's been to Europe and find people friendlier especially if you have a baby with you! Here they just keep to themselves, which I don't mind as per se! I have this interesting observation of my father in law's to share though! He says this is one of the first places, he's seen men are fully dressed like in pants for the most part, whereas girls are dressed in shorts, micro minis! It had me cracking up for a while!

But I like it that here women can dress like that and not grabbed at, stared at or commented upon!

Talking of dressing in USA, it used to amuse me no end, that girls in Chicago, even in the coldest of winter days, manage to dress themselves in short skirts and dresses! Here I used to be bunched up in layers of clothes, bcoz I can't withstand the cold weather!
But wow it was amazing to see people dressed glamorously, when we visited Las Vegas! its like being in a hollywood movie or television show!
