Aw Fivr - your guests still bugging you? I feel ya, honey My two buas and their husbands are coincidentally in London at the same time, and coincidentally are coming to our house today at the same time...so it is going to be a full house tonight as they are planning to sleep over. Plus my mum is in India so it is left to me - as my sis can only do so much and my dad is a man - to do all the khaatir-daari. Man, I hate guests. But I love the film Atithi Kab Jaoge for exactly this reason 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good morning everyone! How are we doing today? :-)

Hey Anu - Yesterday I was in super hurry and could not reply to your comment about Bhagowali ... as I-told-you-so as it may sound, but I've recently started watching that serial. If I don't get to watch it, I at least read the updates. In between they were going back and forth quite a bit, lekin this week the story is at a high point ... I saw Runjhun taking the pheras and Guddu arriving at the last moment to hold her from falling down. A very sweet relationship these two share. Lots of misunderstandings, lots of mistrust... but at the end of it all, there is some bond that ties the two together. He cannot bear to see the atrocities being met on her, and she cannot seem to leave her baggage behind. Yet he is headstrong and cannot see the intent behind her actions, whereas she is too wrapped up to see his love. Interesting ...

Oh LadyM, you watched it? Yes it was suchhh a sweet scene! See it's G and R's interactions and bonding that make the show worth watching actually...I thought it was a very subtle and touching scene...they both acted so well...you could see how much Guddu has grown to love her and the way he expressed was so simple yet so touching...the bit I loved the most was after he asks if she wants to be his Runjhun Shukla all her life and she just nods slightly and moves forward to rest her head on his chest...they didn't show melodramatic dialogues from her there and just let the subtlety of the moment be...you can see the depth of the bond b/w them...both Himanshoo and Nivedita acted very well.

Otherwise there was lot of intolerable melodramatic crap in the epi but this first scene was beautiful I thought😊

Yeah one of the reasons why I liked the last few episodes was the way in which the makers have developed the bond between the two. It is not melodramatic and at times even surprising ... i.e. you keep expecting something and yet the serial throws a surprising curveball. Guddu didn't show any signs of becoming the sappy husband until the last minute. He kept Runjhun at arms length, although he continued to feel sorry and helpless for her situation. He wanted her to come out of her belittled existence into his world and yet people like Jabbo kept pulling him back two steps whenever he walked one step forward. It was almost like Guddu learning to fight against his own demons. Jabbo was the symbolic devil who kept his on his edge and constantly swayed him back. Whereas Runjhun was the symbolic angel who tried to do everything in her power to bind him with her selfless love. Eventually the angel won. But the devil will not take things lying down. So troubles are far from over for this happily in love couple...

I even liked the fact that one of the Mamis so crudely and yet so accurately pointed out to Runjhun when she realizes that she had been tricked by them into staying at home: The Mami said - if you don't trust your relationship with Guddu, how can you put the blame on us? It is kind of like an eye-opener to all the people out there that there will be people who try to drive a wedge between you and your destined one, yet it is only up to you take the relationship to the next level. If you cannot trust your destined one, above everyone else, there is no future to your relationship.

Aisa waisa.. I thought she was a bit hard to put up with when we'd see her on weekends or such but to live with her 3 straight weeks is such a psychological torture.. for the lack of a better word. I mean the hypocrisy of her actions and her deliberate need to irritate people and see how far she can push them is just obscene to say the least. She knows we're hard on money - mushkil sey ghar chalta hai between my paycheck and my dad's and us par bhi she does stupid wasteful stuff just to annoy us (because we're related to her from her husband's side and both my uncle and aunt just keep trying to one up each other or annoy each other - so basically she's trying to annoy him THROUGH us. Whatever.).. Like yesterday, it was SO hot here and she went out to "shop" at 4pm - seedha garmi k waqt.. My mom's been fasting this week so she drags my mom with her too.. GARMI mein.. and then walks around the mall for 3 hours.. gets back in the house at 7:30 ish and then just goes around the house turning on the fans in EVERY ROOM regardless of whether anyone is in there or not.. And when we ask her why, she says "garmi ho rahi hai toh I just want the fans to be on everywhere takey sab jaga thand ho jaye".. WTH?!?!? Gaarmi lag rahi hai toh AIK jaga betho fan k neechey - nahi poorey ghar mein tehelna hai aur fans chalaney hain? How the hell are we supposed to pay the electricity bill for this month, I really don't have a clue. Air conditioning is ALWAYS turned on - even when there is NO one in the house because she wants to come back to a cold house. She makes us buy random snacks/food/fruits that she says she wants to eat but then trashes them all because a.) they don't taste right - too sweet/salty/sour/etc, b.) they went bad because she kept them sitting outside for two days in the heat or c.) she ate a little bit and now she's full so we can trash this one because by the time she comes around to wanting to eat it again this one would have gone bad (or whatever) and she can just get a new one.
Upar sey she's gone around the whole house changing stuff - changing bed spreads in my parents room because SHE doesn't like them.. went through my sister's closet and took out her clothes (brand new) and TRASHED THEM.. Why we asked her.. "Because I didn't like how they look.. They were too a.) old, b.) plain, c.) out of fashion. WHAT THE HELL!?!!?!?!?!?
And then my mom cooks for her DAILY because unka farmaishi program hamesha chal raha hota hai - kabhi ye khana hai kabhi woh peena hai. And she's had the audacity to go eat OUT at the end of the day (on certain days) because a.) her daugther (who's 7 years old by the way) thought that the food was too spicy (because she ate a mirchi or something deliberately) or b.) she just craves something else. Toh meri maa ko kiyoun poori subha sey kitchen mey khara rakha?! She doesn't let my mom sleep - raat tak jaga k rakhti hain! And then subha my mom wakes up early to finish her work because once my aunt wakes up she doesn't let my mom do anything.. Bass movies dekho, baatain karo (and she preaches to you.. Doesn't "talk".. She PREACHES. Everything you do is WRONG and everything she's telling you is RIGHT. And there's no argument about that with her.) ya shopping chalo garmi mein.
And what pisses me off the most is k if we do the same thing in her house toh qayamat aajaye gi. Wahan toh if she cooks something you HAVE to eat it, when you leave a room all the lights/fans should be turned off and her restrooms should be left spotless. Yahan toh she takes a shower and soap woh gira hua hai, kapre yahan parhe hue hain and water all around the sink. *fumes*
I hate her hypocrisy. Her motto seems to be "mera ghar bhi mera ghar aur tumhara ghar bhi mera ghar". Har jaga bass inhi ki marzi chaley aur kisi aur ka KOI lehaz nahi.
I swear. I have had it up to HERE. Abhi is weekend toh her husband is also coming to live here and woh aur bhi MashAllah hain. I swear I am not sure how I'll make it till next weekend. I have no clue.

Oh Anu.. 🤗 *sigh* I know.. I just try to look at the positive.. Almost one week left until this is over.. This weekend her husband comes and then they hopefully leave the weekend after.
I feel really bad for being so annoyed by a mehmaan given as how they should be treated with so much respect and all - but she's really pushed all my buttons and then some.

WORD on everything you've said Anu. Agreed that the serial was stuck in a rut in between. Let's see how they further develop the bond between G and R.. as it is the serial is tipped to end soon.

Did you see yesterday's Navya btw? I could not ... I only managed to see BALH and that's it. BALH was cute. The OTT antics by Priya's mom were funny. Even Priya herself was literally rolling her eyes on that one... Ram toh was funny as always 😆. The way he tries to show his restraint is both humorous and interesting. Ram gets it just right. Let's see how the "meeting" goes when Karthik finally broaches the topic of Priya's marriage. 😊 I am liking the pace so far...

Edit: Heyyy Fivr! *waves* How are you?

RP were hilariously adorable in yesterday's epi...haha...oh god Priya's mom toh was getting on my last nerve...I forwarded a lot of her scenes...lol
