Yeah - aise bhi today I was in a mood for gupshup :-) So its nice to have some free time. Whew! Replied to 2 intense posts in the SGP forum.

Actually I did watch couple of episodes of Malaal as recommended by Mash, lekin beech mein I started watching Rishta.Com.... and I fell in love with the serial so much that I devoted 1 week on getting caught up! Uske baad ... I forgot about Malaal. 😆 I have to motivate myself to watch it again.

@Mash: OMG! You think birthdays are over rated?!??! *jaw drops* Me too!!!!! The last birthday I celebrated was 13th birthday.. Now toh my birthdays consist of sleeping, waking up, eating, working or watching TV (depending on the day), reading some and going back to bed. And if people forget to make me cut a cake, that makes it even better! I hate it when people go all *gush* It's-your-birthday! *gush* over me.. *shrugs*

LOL!! Dude, my sister toh enjoys it so much.. In fact I usually hear myself speak and I always think what the hell am I saying.. But I'm too high to actually censor it or be sensible.. 🤣

@ Anu - Lol you're right waise. They do end up jaapo-ing the host continuously.. And they have added this "ask the expert" lifeline which is SO lame IMO. They have an online expert that is Charu Sharma ex-cricketer and a new celeb each day. I feel that'll be fixed. I find that lame and so different than original KBC.. *shrugs*

Plus they have this new rule where the fastest finger contestants keep on repeating for the whole week. Makes me feel, KBC has changed so much! 😆

Nothing's new with me. Studying and studying yet not studying!! 😆 Us ke ilawa, I'm watching KBC, Bigg Boss and SGP! 😃

Fivr, Mash - I personally think you girls ARE nuts. Birthdays are not over-rated, birthdays are meant to be YOUR special days. Haan I am not saying go OTT with the balloons, ribbons, confetti, party, Hallmark type dream birthdays - lekin they are YOUR days. You can do what you want on that day. If there are loved ones who want to wish you, be with you, or celebrate the joy with you - so be it. It just goes to show that there are people out there who care. And it YOUR day to spend it as you wish. If you enjoy sleeping and eating, then so be it. 😆 Personally I am thrilled to have my loved ones pamper me my birthday. It makes me feel like the "Queen of the world" - just for that day.

Haven't watched SGP this week yet....will need to catch later tonight or tomorrow I think.....only been watching LTL apart from Malaal cuz MR's been fabbbbbbbbb this week.

Anu...I spend half of the day at university and now I'm trying to finish an assignment....Aur Abhi tak toh cake kata hi nahin...somehow I manaofy my sisters and mother not to bring a cake for me. Mine is the third birthday that we celebrate in our house in October...toh waise bhi sab cake kha kha kar thak gaye hain. Phir bhi they have ordered a Pizza delivery (my favourite) and have brought ice-cream...so we'll just have a small family dinner, enjoy ice-cream n all...

Lol!! I've always been an active advocate of celebrating birthdays with a spark. But just not mine.. 😆 I mean I set up parties for my parents birthdays or my sisters or my friends araam sey.. But if it comes to me, I just prefer to be left alone in the background that day. I guess I've just been so exhausted since I've come here k the one day I get to pick how I want to spend, I prefer to do it lazing around the house like a regular day. I don't want to dress up for people, go socialize with friends or make a big deal about food/cake/gift.. And I know I should want to meet up with friends, but honestly I don't have any here. I have one but she's in another state and so the acquaintances I have here aren't one I'd like to sit and faux-giggle with on anyday. (People strongly believe I'm antisocial.. But I think the jury's still out on that one.. 😆😆) I'd rather just sit in my room with a good book or a good movie and just relax. Occasionally go to the kitchen to stuff my plate and later my face, but other than that staying at home in my PJs all day with no cake, no wishes and no "hullabaloo" sounds just perfect!
