Btw, did you read the Press Release of episode 4? I don't like the bit about Brennan taking the Bunsen guy as the new squintern. True, that he will probably be there for one episode, but I wanted Wendell permanently. Looks like this season will also have weird rotations🤔.

Yeah I did read that....does seem like they'll have a new set of rotating interns this season😕....the previous ones all seem to have become famous enough to get their own shows and movies....lol....especially VNM and Fisher....still hoping though that they add Wendell as a permanent character somehow....the way he interacts with the rest of the team....he just seems to fit in with the gang IMO.

I mean don't take offense but I have never recommended a Pakistani serial to you or anyone other than Nimrah n Zainu because I feel you won't like it...you know because it's somewhat weird to watch a show when you are not adapted to the writing and the way it's shot...the sets, the stories, characters are all generally very different from an Indian show..it would take you time to adjust to the story and the way it is shot n all....

As for the story...yaar...don't ask me that...it's just a 15 or so episodes serial...You won't enjoy it much if I tell you the story...Waise it's about a girl Zenia, living abroad, in love with a friend of hers thinking he loves her too and will propose to her soon...then this guy goes to Pakistan and marries someone else...aage toh I won't tell you what will happen...

LOL but how exactly do you classify an Indian show?? If you're saying that I'm expecting a melodramatic soap opera as is the norm on Indian TV, then that is not the case at all.....I'm very well aware of the fact that Pakistani shows are very different......at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how different a story/set/writing/direction style is from what one is used to.....if the story is well written and executed in a good manner, I think it has universal appeal and crosses language and cultural barriers....and in this case toh I don't even have to cross that much of a language/cultural barrier...do I? :P

Anu, people are even trashing that interview? just an interview? *shakes head* Kuch log kabhi nahin sudharne wale. All they want to see is Brennan and Booth doing it. If HH would give them another dose of 'alternate reality' then they would shut there mouth for some days before starting again. I get it that they really want to see BnB together, but its not like as if this wasn't decided before. The series is about that very thing....so how can they expect BnB getting together? Don't they think even for once that if BnB get together soon, what next they would wanna see? Seriously, I don't get it when fans create a havoc about this fact. I really like seeing a relationship develop as much as possible (before turning into a bro-sis one like SG's) before hook-up happens. Isn't the entire 'attraction/bonding' phase so much more interesting than 'hook-up' phase? So, they are together now, what happens next?

LOL yeah they're trashing this interview as well....cuz most ppl now want BnB to get together and then whatever is left of the show should be spent in showing the challenges they face after they get together according to these fangroups...to quote exactly...."the development of the BnB relationship is not organic anymore".....there's many ppl giving the example of the show House which showed it's main pair of House-Cuddy getting together....lol

I guess a lot of ppl are tired of the angst and it's feeling stale to them now....but I don't really totally feel that way.....there have been times in season 5 when I've felt that things stagnated and it started to grate on me....but I don't overall believe that the angst from their relationship is overdone.....like I've said many times before....the very characters are so unique....especially Brennan....there is no one else like her on TV or in movies....that it makes the way the BnB relationship has evolved believable.....so yeah there have been relationships in the past...yeah Booth realized...yeah he made the first move...put himself out there....but she didn't have the courage....I find that believable and I find the execution of the storyline after that believable as well.

Sometimes I look at Angela-Brennan and think that there's a relationship that is so dear to Brennan....she's like a sister to her...and still she gets awkward expressing her love for her/her feelings towards her.....so many times she can be cold too....Brennan is a very complex character and it will hardly be easy to show her getting over her hangups that easily and taking that leap of faith when it comes to Booth.....so to me, the evolution of the relationship is still organic.....as it grows from point to point....

At the end of the day, I just love watching these two together in a frame no matter what they do....I don't hang on to this show just waiting to see if this epi will be the one in which they get together...that is the stupidest way possible to be watching this show IMO.....I just like watching them together, period....and how they grow as characters through this journey together....how their character flaws pull them apart but invariably they are drawn to each other again....that is what makes this show. And yeah it's a fact to me atleast that no show manages to sustain my interest for much once they get the couple together....so I'm cool with Bones the way it is.

@ bold - Bingo! I remember watching soaps from Korea/Taiwan with subtitles and some of those were fantastic. So heart-warming and well written! The best part is that they have only 15 - 20 episodes so everything is planned out and shot before it goes on air. No dragging that way. I guess Malal/Daam have a limited number of episodes too, so that's why they are popular.
