It is quite sadly nowhere to be found online 😕 I've just seen 6-7 epis live on NDTV Imagine... there's just this one epi on YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeZVKNeLZtw That doesn't even make it seem very good 😆 But it is, so if I find it I will def keep you posted... it's not based on any one text, it's an episodic so for 2-3 epis it covers one saint's life and then moves on to the next... some of those saints have biographical info in their own writings like Ramanujacharya and Naamdev and stuff, but for others... not too sure.

haha well RM did make "ghor paap" when rahul had returned lol..i also liked SR but riddhima also did "ghor paap"...too many paapi's for one serial *sigh*

gosh..now that ur mentioning allt hese ncie serials, i want to watch :( :( :(

somehow i will control until dec. 17th B-)

i'll watch them all, first the newer ones then the old ones...i know that this is going to sound veryy shallow but the old ramayan, couldn't they have picked a better looking ram 🤔 rofll..okay, shallow moment of the day, im done. but the sita whoever plalyed her was a really good acteress, i cried when she left ram at the end :( :( :( :(

thank you Lola🤗 those three are probably the closest presentation of these great epics! amiguities....I definitely agree! I mean I can just talk about so many things gone wrong....in fact did you know that the character of Radha was a result of an author's imagination. She never even existed in the original mahabharat.

the first article about gambling was pretty interesting. A Lot of good points, though I've only read about half of it, I am gonna bookmark the page, so that I can read the rest of it when time permits.
well, I think the purpose of that was to teach us the consequences of gambling.
the last article is a very well written article on drupadi. I did not know most of it.

What I loved the most about maharabharat would be the brilliant portrayal of each character by each actor! from mukesh khanna to nitin bhardwaj to even the shakuni dude😆.

oh that reminds me, have you guys watched BRC's vishnupuran! just love Nitin bhardwaj's acting! can never express it in words.

is this show like for reall? like followng a saint around or is it more of storytelling?

@lola: aww, I loved Rahul and Muskaan too! Those two were my favourite and the only characters I still like from DMG!

🤣 You're gonna wanna edit that Ram comment before Gunu logs on and reads it, or we move to the forum and lock this thread before then so she doesn't reply 😆 He was a tiny bit older than the books tell us Ramji's supposed to be, around 16-7 when he goes for vanvaas - but that narmi ishtyle voice of his is sooooo perfect for the character that once you get into it you can easily forget the age thing.

Soo... do watch, order doesn't matter - once you have a taste for the story with the new ones, you'll like the old ones even more cuz you'll be able to tell the diff 😉 But yeah studies first... I should tell myself the same thing 😆

And awwwwww don't remind me, poor Sid 😭 He didn't deserve that... and Karan Wahi's shoooooo cute, I can't wait to see him on tv again in a better more consistent less schizophrenic show. What Ridz did to him, methinks, far outdoes RM's ghor paap cuz it is 2010... "waiting" may be out of style but fidelity?? I hope not! Lolz enough of my rant, the shows over.

You can't blame me, how did you feel during the suicidal Lakshman moment?😡😆 I remember everyone at RF was complaining about Sita Ma turning into an amazoness woman, but really now, with a Lakshman like that, can you really blame her?🤔 Eesh! And going by NDTV, Urmi was pregnant then too, so they butchered Lakshman's character twice. First by making him suicidal, and then by making him forget about his wife and future kid and take his own life because he could not deal with the tragedy of the moment, suuuuper lesson for youngsters today, huh?

Like I said, I could deal with the Ram-Sita moments in Ramayan and even enjoy them because some of them were RS-ish, but many (if not most) scenes with the other characters were rather 👎🏼.

Lolz that's why I said that particular epi doesn't make the best representative for the show... the following part did used to happen, but the acting skills... or lack thereof... don't make the reasons seem very convincing 😆 For a cute sampling of Shri Krishna, check this out - and yeah, the story's right outta the Bhaagvat Puraan:
