Yeah, I don't understand why people cry at Nikkah's. IT should be the happiest time. I understand why people cry at baraat, but Nikaah? This is one of the reasons I don't want to get married. So much melodrama.

I can't believe I'm going to reach that age. *Sigh* it's so depressing. I only have a few years to chill out with my family. I need to start being nice to my parents.

I've heard of people having a long gap between their Nikkah and the Valima. Our family friends, their daughter was in love with her childhood friend so both their families decided to get them Nikkah'd and married after 3-4 years when they both were graduated from college and had jobs. We attended their wedding 2 years ago and it was an unforgettable event.

yea she's only in her 2nd year of uni.. and she doesnt wanna get married yet.. 😕 but yea 3-4 years is too long i think... people change in that time 😕 i dont know if i'd be comfortable being 'almost married' but not 'married' for that long 😕 specially when its an arranged marriage 😕
