Yeah, Nikkah is when all your loved ones gather, and the guy is across the hall, and the girl is on the other side (they can't see each other), and both sides need to have two witnesses, and you say Kabool Hai three times, sign the marriage certificated, and voila!

So tehcnically, nikka=marriage. The rest are ceremonies/reception.

lolzzzzzzzzz, kabool hai is the Pakistani thing. The Imam asked me once and I wasn't sure if he was telling me or ASKING ME? 🤣 So I was like "am I supposed to say 'yes'?" And he was like "you can say yes or not, whatever you want. " 🤣 🤣 🤣

I've heard of tons of stories about women, married against their will, who said 'no' during their nikkah. When that happens, NO one can force her into marriage. Not the parents, not the imam.

I am kinda afraid. I have no idea how this marriage thing works. What if I accidently say 'nahin' for Kabool hai. Marriage is called off.

I need to read 'Nikaah for Dummies' for prep.

LMAO, riya my suhaag raat is far away as of now. SO you can sing that song later.

But just so you all know, no matter how sure you are about "him", you will get a major panic attack. Man I had a headache for like a week, and I was so nervous. 😲
