Anuji ... I know where you are coming from. Believe me, a part of me didn't want to watch the episode at all, but a part of me wanted to see how Mayank had made a fool of himself. Just to be at peace with myself, I watched the episode and my anger has dissipated. I don't know if it is because of the passage of time or because of my decision to watch the episode. But for once, I am glad I did. I had decided to write off Mayank forever. However, after seeing the precap - I am holding on to one thread of hope. Just my two cents ... go watch it! If nothing else - it'll be entertaining to watch Sheena fumble over her dialogues because of Gunjan.

Kavya - so true. And I join you in the abusing. His conversation with Samrat was the WORST male bonding I've ever seen.

LadyM, you still harbored hope obviously and didn't want to write him off....so that's why you watched the epi....I can't watch it cuz some things are better buried only....same way I could never bring myself to watch the epi when Mayank turned into Samrat for one day.....this is a 1000 times worse than that....it makes me sick just to read about it.....I don't think I'll be able to watch it.

How much do you want to bet that in the pre-cap also, he will turn into a joke and smirk at her again?

Gee whom am I kidding? I don't wanna bet Anu. We all know how it is going to turn out. It has been blatantly obvious from Day 1 which jodi the creatives prefer. SaJan always get the most brilliant dialogues, scenes and build up of story. Whereas MayUr are just there for the comedy, remember? No wonder MJHT TRPs are going down.

Maybe I need time, LadyM...in a few more days I'll be able to detach myself to watch it for buffoonery again....but for now, Mayank's character assassination PAINS me...once I get over it, I might watch it for laughs too....lol

It pained me too Anu. Partly because I identified with Mayank as a person. I saw traces of myself in his character. I adored him for the fact that he'd been such a gentleman with Nupur throughout the A'bad journey. All the while they fought, he looked after her safety. The barn scene, Valentine's night. He was so considerate that he turned off the lights when Nupur's dress ripped.

Now he's become a presumptuous guy. Pretty much like what Darcy was when he first proposed to Elizabeth and she turned him down. Darcy turned about his ways when Elizabeth crushed his ego and said - "had he behaved in a more gentlemanlike manner". Remember? I am hoping that's what they turn M/N love story into.

LadyM, Darcy was consistent from day one, nahin?? How can they SUDDENLY turn Mayank into a Darcy-like character from what he was earlier! Did Darcy only act presumptous cuz he was in love???😕😕......How can Mayank's ego SUDDENLY become so huge??? This is an obvious attempt to ram a watered down pathetic copy of P&P down our throats.....
