That has been one of the biggest issues for quite some time isn't it? But that was always part and parcel of the job they had decided to take on. This fan pressure didn't happen overnight. This was on going even when the previous CV was there. The whole challenge was to continue to write/deliver while ignoring/handling that pressure. The winner should have been the story, however sadly, it became wish fulfillment.

And I also believe that Ameeta like any other creative wanted to make the story her own. I understand that. It is often hard to walk in the footsteps of someone else when you are your own person. You know, I believe she wanted to give the characters her own twist. But nevertheless, this was NOT a wise decision.You see, playing with a character is all well and good. But you don't try to change his or her basic traits and change him or her into someone different. People look on with contempt at characters they dont recognise. They dislike them and ultimately you...

Exactly. THIS! It needed to be well etched out, smooth, well planned. They needed time and a well thought out storyline which gave room to character development and character growth and did justice to the show at the end of the day. Sadly, it just turned into a TRP troop and all the ideas, grand plans and everything was flushed under the sea of fan squeals and screams.

And there is another problem that has been there since the very inception of D3 and it is that the show had never focused on the individuality of all the characters. Infact,they don't have characters in the show. No, they have heros and heroines.And clowns and sidekicks. There is only so much you can do with a couple.

THIS. I couldn't have said it better myself. And such a depressing waste that is.

...the creatives of Indian TV shows have a huge tendency to insult our intelligence. For some reason, they believe that everything works for us as long as we get romance. Maybe, they think we are love deprived irrational souls. It is highly humiliating...

This show could have been so much more if only they hadn't wrongly perceived their viewer's IQ levels. As a so called youth channel, Channel V is strangly diabolical in nature. On one hand you have Paanch and other reality based shows that showcase the youth of today and their worries and issues and on other there are show such as these that degrade those very viewers to nothing more than drooling sap happy babies that would love nothing more than some eye candy and cotton candy romance and LLLHH scenes. Ugh.

Thanks for making this post. Maybe (and this is me being foolishly optimistic), the CVs see this and try to maintain a minimal amount of logic. Tell me when that happens. I am going into hibernation🥱

Why still people are watching the show? Because d3 fans mostly watch the show for their couples and they day dream too much about them. I feel people are fans of those actors , storyline doesn't matter much. And Cvs know that very well. Here members are tolerating this shit because they don't want to see their fav's hardwork is getting waste. Now some people are not watching, tomorrow other two will stop. And hopefully the crap will end soon.

There are allready some viewers who knows the exact things you said, and they know allready that every word here said is TRUE...But refused to believe that, and blame it all on CVs..
CVs are at fault..yes they ARE at fault... But not entirely.. We fans (yes am including myself aswell, coz I haven't done that Quiting thing still😃) are majorly at fault too...! "hume yeh chahiye, hume woh chahiye, yeh kyu nahi dikh raha, woh kyu nahi dikh raha" we kept on cribbing, and the CVs, who doesn't know HOW TO HANDLE THIS HUGE FANDOM, *excuse my language*, scr*wed it up..!! Big Time..

I love these lines the MOST...They wanted to please the fans.. So they ruined the characters..they Ruin the story-line..they forgot what they thought of doing at first, and BINGO, fans are hating them now..!!
Am pretty sure that even after this post and a a few posts like this, Nothing will change..!! The blaming the actors will continue, the fan-wars will continue and so will the UTTER CRAP of D3 CVs...Trying to please the fans, with Random *again excuse my language* SH*T...

If you give Swayam as example, then all will look peachy. But look at Rey... He was thoroughly inconsistent during Palki's time. The way his character was brutally assassinated by Palki after Kria's exit was brought to notice by many here... But to no avail.

If a new girl had to be brought, then no problem... But what was the need to create an entirely NEW Rey?? One that did not resemble the past one at all?
