I knew that a day will come when these kind of posts will be made. When I first joined the forum I had made a similar post which echoed the same thoughts, perhaps a little more vehemently, but that was soon closed as it was violating too many rules. Glad to see this post. A much needed one. 👍🏼

FINALLY! Finally a "D3 ruined" post which doesn't make me cringe in disgust at the amount of toxic hatred present against...'people' & which makes SENSE. And blames the right people.

Kash...sloppy kisses. I don't care who thinks what😳 I am in lust with your post😳

Res.

Unres.

Is there any way this post could be sent to Ameeta Maam. It is so brilliantly free of fandom bias, I almost drooled a puddle when I read this. Whether this goes in their heads or not is another issue but try to maara jaa sakta hai na.

Anyways...on to the post. People are free to contradict, but the new CVs had a gun to their foreheads AND a Niagara Falls of expectations aimed at them BEFORE they even took over the show. Both fandoms were involved in this pressuring...kisne kya kiya sab jante hai. I ain't gonna sugarcoat my words😳. First month was UNBELIEVABLY good. I loved KriYaansh, aside from a few khundaks with Kria, I even enjoyed SwaRon which has NEVER happened, & the overall dance academy issue was engaging. All was well until the absolutely blissful, spell binding Rain Dance.

See...in a fandom, especially a huge one, there will 20 different people wanting 20 different things. When you have TWO fandoms, you can double the numbers. And if you try to show all 40 things in the story, you can pretty much say goodbye to all logic in the show. That's what CVs have been doing recently. Kisi ne kaha XYZ ka dance do toh dance de diya. Kisi ne kaha ABC ka romance do, unka romance de diya. Rightly said, whatever works for the moment whatever will make a huge portion of a fandom happy, they will do that & then repeat it for another portion. Iss sab mein the story just got buried 60 feet under.

NO. That is not how a show works. Those days are gone, jab ooh aah karke hum sab khush ho jayenge. D3's biggest drawback is that since inception, it was conceived with 0 individuality & all romance & dance. We have 4 lead characters, a unit of filler characters known as 'The Gang' & outstanding dancers. D3 hence can never be more than SwaRon or KriYaansh & Dance. And keeping that in mind, it is extremely important to give quality romance because indepthness of other characters cannot be depended on because they don't EXIST, as was seen in the Nimmi track.

Fans & CVs have done to this show, koi mane ya na mane. Dus cheeze mangne ke badle baba ji ka thullu mil raha hai. And CVs need to grow a spine & stop giving into fans/Channels. D3 has 200+ TVTs. That is NOT LOW. It isn't in a stage where it desperately needs TVTs or is gareeb for them. Then why these lochas to rake in more? Kya difference reh jayega phir between D3 & those pathetic 6+ TRPs shitty SP/Colors shows. Why this desperation always for TVTs & abandoning all logic. First Palki did it, now Ameeta Maam is doing it. Smell the coffee. Unless CVs grow a backbone & stop listening to every third person...their show cannot have one. Period.

I can even at this point think up a hundred ways to pull the show out of this hotch potch. There ARE ways. But unless CVs shuffle their priorities & put the intellectual as well as emotional satisfaction of the audience at the top over pleasing other people & appeasing the threatening fans, as well as raking in TRPs...thenga milne wala hai hume.

The biggest problem with the new writers is that they never did homework. It was very clear from their writing from day one. How can u write a show properly,if you have not even watched the previous 600 episodes??
It became aptly clear when Ameeta in her 1st interview in Dec she said SwaRon have already had lots of romance and Palki ma'am sitting beside her had to correct her and tell her that SwaRon never had romance more than a week . And even that din't register with her.
I badly miss Palki ma'am and Priya ma'am 's writing.😭 D3 is their brainchild and its only them who can probably handle it well.

Downfall of D3. There are various reasons. If I start with the charm thing the D3 charm the show had lost somewhere around in April 2012. But that every show does over time. Precisely the first six months of the any show are always best because during those times absolute pure creativity gets poured down minus any competition and fan pressure. Every show changes after that. But the shows essense somewhere and somehow remains there. Kabhi kabhi mujhe bhi lagta tha wo D3 kahan gaya. But what actually is the vanishing of essence of D3 is what I saw after Ameeta Maam's entry. Its like after actually knowing what is worse you get to know what was good. =)) Any neutral viewer will be able to understand the sudden change that took place over the show. During PM's time the logic factor is there. And the characters behaved the way they are. But the biggest flaw in Ameeta Maam's writing is she doesn't know any character, be it Swayam, Sharon, Kriya and Rey. And inko nahi janegi to how will she understand who are SwaRon or who are KriYaansh. She treated D3 concept as something of a new show and not the one which has been running for 3years, whose every character has evolved by leaps and bounds. Too much of LLHHs. Thats utter waste of time. LLHHs was in trend 3-4years back. One good thing I liked about D3 was that there was never any overdose and illogical LLHHs. Coming to fan pressure. These CVs ABSOLUTELY can't handle fanpressure. The funniest being I guess there was the spoiler of Sharon's eve teasing, which was not aired and we got that Kids NGO sequence where it was clearly visible that it was a last minute addition. Same goes with KR track. They thought that since fans will be watching their favs after 2years they will be dying to watch romance between them. Isliye dedala be matlab ki closeness. Uske liye story ki ma behen hojaye ki fark paenda unhe. Im shocked to hear that the KR kiss didn't do anything to their story. I thought unka confession hojayega. But ye tou clearly samajh araha k TRP badane ke liye kara gaya. I guess they got into competition with Sadda Haq, they had a kiss recently na. And KR Kiss wo bhi aisa abrupt wala just after that, too much a conincidence I feel. Then comes the channel part. I seriously feel ChV interferes way too much in the creative handling of the show. During PM's time too and now also. The creatives I don't think have their 100% liberity while writing. Ya Channels have right to interfere, but I think it goes overboard with this show. Anyway D3s downfall have started and No SS, No KR will be able to save this show from meeting its end if this continues.

You know, even though i don't completely agree with you and we don't think on the same wavelength, Yet I agree with the above lines. I really do believe that she did not do her homework be it SS or KR...

Exactly. That is exactly what happened. They screwed it up by listening to us when they should have kept their heads down and just let their work speak for themselves. But they got swayed by the enormous fan base and we all can see how that's turned out.

Am pretty sure that even after this post and a a few posts like this, Nothing will change..!! The blaming the actors will continue, the fan-wars will continue and so will the UTTER CRAP of D3 CVs...Trying to please the fans, with Random *again excuse my language* SH*T...

And isn't that the saddest thing in the world? Our intelligence will continue to get insulted. Our love for the show will continue to be mocked and the show will continue to generate TRPs anyway. *sigh*

I'm completely in agreement with this. [V] does interfere a lot in the story telling which is visible in a plot that is all over the place! Worst thing is they just take the fanbases for granted and insult the intelligence of viewers repeatedly. I've seen the same with [V]'s other shows too. From nowhere they'll introduce a track that is completely disconnected from the story or the characters. [V] should only air mini-series like Paanch or bi-weekly shows.
I know the channel EPs have the last word in terms of creative decisions, however the CVs should have the conviction to argue their case. Ameeta has been disappointing but even PM messed it up bad.

D3 ka storyline kya hai? I feel it is running on week basis :| Thats it.

The most depressing thing is, it's partly because they listened to us and partly because they didn't handle it with care.

They never fully understood the show, the characters, the story lines, what really worked with the show and it was never the LLHH and the romance only. However, they just decided to listen to the fans instead and appease them and relied on that only - it became their answer to all their woes. And as it apparently shows - their only life support.
