Yes I cried today, I cackled in laughter, and probably went through so many emotions just because of this one sequence that I cannot even begin to express it in words.
You said you'll happily take the torture of watching this dance, for me its a torture to not watch it every second since.
This is kriyaansh, this is what I wanted in that first dance. The leaps, the extensions, the lines, the spins was so surreal it was as if somebody had put a spell and i was in a trance. I sat there watching the screen raptured by the divinity playing before my eyes with my mouth wide open in awe.
The way he touched her, the possessiveness that was so evident in it, inspite of the anger and hurt was so perfectly portrayed that my breathing hitched. The way she bestowed her complete trust in him, leaping through the air knowing somebody is there to catch her is so impactful that I could cry at the perfection of it.
Then the oh ho ho scene was utter bliss. I think my heart actually hurt for that moment it was so brilliant. The way rey can't help but keep her safe from the rain, the uncontrollable urge he faces to touch her for just a moment more than required had me absolutely immobilized and that just got topped with that look of longingness and hope on her face that she had almost given up on.
My heart went out to them during the locker room scene, the pain they both are suffering so different from the others yet really the same. The song too added so much depth to the sequence making it so much more meaningful and relatable than just a normal flashback
Today kriyaansh made me fall for them so hard that I cannot and do not want to recover ever in my existence. In that moment, there was nothing that mattered, it was just them, their dance and those unspoken words and even the heavens cried with them. I could go on but the screen's getting blurry so I'll stop with saying that god crafted these dancing angels together to complete eachother and give people a taste of heaven on earth
