Merry Christmas (A SwaRon Story)Part 3 Updated Pg4 - Page 2

After Mr. Shekhawat left in a cab, I went up to the room I would be staying in. I walked right up to the window to look outside to see the city lights twinkling while a light snowfall fell. "Nice view, huh?" A voice said behind me.

I turned and stared at Swayam's face, "Not anymore." I said.

"Aw, don't be like that." he smiled, "I mean, my dad ditched me. Your parents ditched you'"

"They did not ditch me." I said, even though I knew it was true.

Swayam shrugged, "I'm only saying that since we're both here, we might as well enjoy spending Christmas together."

"Together?" I curled my lips in disgust, at that idea.

"It'll be fun." Swayam said.

"I doubt it." I said, knowing Christmas hasn't been 'fun' in a while.

"Sure it will." Swayam suddenly got all excited, "We can make a snowman, bake Christmas cookies, do some Christmas role play." he looked off into the distance with a dreamy expression, "I can be Santa, and you can be on my naughty list."

Ugh. "No thanks."

"Come on." Swayam urged, his eyes seeming to shine, "We'll have fun. It'll be like a Christmas miracle!"

"Christmas miracle?" I sneered, "Those don't really happen."

"They do." Swayam said casually, "I believe in them."

I brushed past Swayam and shook my head, "Sure. And I once believed in Santa Clause too."

*2 days until Christmas

I felt a shiver as I awoke from my first night here. Ugh. It's too early. I flopped back onto my bed and reached to pull my blankets over me. Except'where's my blankets?

I turned towards the other side of the bed to see Swayam sleeping there, all of my blankets wrapped around him. "Ahh!" I screamed. What is he doing here?! Was he in my bed the whole night?!

Swayam mumbled and snuggled closer in the blankets, "Not so loud'"

"Swayam! What are you doing here!?" I backed away to the edge of the bed.

"I got lonely." He opened his eyes and held his arms out, "Come. I'll keep you warm."

"No." I felt myself blush.

"You're right." he got up, "We need to start the day. Now go get dressed, so we can do some Christmassy activities."

"No." I said again.

"Excuse me, but who's mansion are you staying in?" he smiled.

"'Yours." I mumbled.

"Right." he grinned, "And until your daddy gives you permission to leave, you owe me."

I started to protest, but on some degree, he is right. This is his home. I'm just a guest. He always has the option to kick me onto the streets until my parents come back home. "Fine." I sighed, "Let me get changed."

"Ok." Swayam still sat there and waited expectantly, "Go ahead."

"Alone please!" I pointed towards the door.

"Fine." he groaned got up and left.

Once I changed into a sweater and jeans, I made my way downstairs and saw Swayam standing back to admire a tree in the corner of the living room. "Where did that come from?" I asked.

"Just got it delivered last night." he explained holding out a big box, "Time to decorate it." So that's what he meant by Christmassy activities.

"Have fun." I sat and took out my knitting needles. Maybe I should knit a scarf.

But before I could start, Swayam took my knitting needles and yarn out of my hands, "You're going to help me decorate the tree together."

"Why?" I questioned.

"Cuz that's what people do on Christmas." Swayam said, "Don't you do that with your family?"

I shrugged. I used to when I was little. But then, mom and dad got really busy. The started to do things without me, and then, we just didn't celebrate Christmas together anymore.

Swayam excitedly took a blue ornament from the box and put it onto a branch. I sighed and looked down at the box to see many ornaments all still wrapped in their packaging. "Did you just buy these too?"

"Yep." Swayam opened the boxes and handed me a red ornament, "It's my first time decorating a Christmas tree."

"Really?" I asked, stepping closer to him.

"Yeah well, dad was always away during Christmas. This is the first time I get to spend it with someone, so I want to really celebrate it." he explained but then slightly blushed. He was alone like me.

I carefully placed the red ornament in my hand next to the blue one on the tree. Even if I didn't want to celebrate Christmas, maybe I could just go along with it. For Swayam's sake. Even though I still don't like him.

"Last one." I sighed, putting a silver ornament on the tree.

"Ok." Swayam held out two tree toppers of a star and an angel. "Which one do you like?"

"Um, the angel." I said thinking it'd look very nice on top of the tree.

"Ok, the star then!" Swayam said, disregarding my answer and tossing the angel to the side.

I glared and sat back onto the sofa and started my knitting. Knitting always keeps me calm. "Sharon! Look!" Swayam said lighting up the tree, "Nice, right?"

I glanced up to see the tree all lit up with twinkling lights and colorful ornaments. It's actually kind of pretty. But I quickly continued to knit, trying to look unimpressed, "It's ok."

Swayam smiled as if he didn't believe my words as he sat right besides me, "Well now that the tree is done, we need some presents to go under it. Time to go Christmas shopping!"

"Do you think my dad will like this tie?" Swayam held it out to me.

"Yeah, sure." I said, continuing to knit my scarf while Swayam Christmas shopped.

"Hey, Sharon." Swayam looked through more ties in the store, "What did you get for Christmas last year?"

"Hmm? Oh, um just knitting stuff." I said thinking of the presents my friends gave me before heading off to spend Christmas with their own families. "What about you?"

"Money of course!" Swayam said, "That's what I get every year."

"Only money?" I asked.

"Yeah. Dad was always too busy to shop for Christmas presents, and so money was the easiest thing to get." he said a little sadly.

I stopped. So does that mean Swayam's never gotten a real gift before? Nothing special? I kind of felt bad for him. "Swayam '" I looked up but he was gone. "Swayam?"

I searched the store until I found him flirting with two girls on the side. "So ladies," he twirled one of the girl's hair, "Do you believe in Santa?"

I clenched my teeth and continued to watch Swayam flirt with those girls. This guy! I quickly turned my heel and stalked away. And here I almost felt sorry for someone like him!

I waited outside until Swayam finally came out carrying many shopping bags, "Oh there you are."

"Can we leave now?" I asked.

"Ok. Got all of my Christmas shopping done. And by the way, you'll love your present." he winked.

"You got me something?" I asked, thinking that was actually nice.

"Mmhm." he took out some Christmas themed lingerie and held it out to me, "Wanna role play now?"

My moth hung opened as my face started to heat up, "No!" Just when my opinion of him starts to change'I should've known.

"Aww." he put it back, "Do you like me?"

"Me? Like you?" I rolled my eyes, "As if!"

"Why not?" he lightly asked.

"Because! You're just so'.agh!"

"I see words can't describe how incredible I am." he nodded in such a cocky way that I felt my temper rise.

So without thinking, I bent down and scooped some of the snow on the ground, and quickly formed a snowball that I threw at him. His expression quickly turned to shock as the snow fell from his face. Finally, that cocky grin was wiped from his face. I couldn't help but laugh at that.

Swayam blinked, watching me laugh, "You-you have a pretty laugh." he quickly cleared his throat and blushed. I stopped laughing and smiled. Hmm. When he's like that, he's kinda cute.

"Um," he cleared his throat again, "That's more like it! Get into that Christmas spirit!" he picked up some snow of his own and made it into a snowball. He threw it at me and I dodged it. "Hey!" he laughed making a new one.

I laughed again and backed away. Huh. I haven't laughed like that in a while. Maybe this is a Christmas miracle. I picked up some snow and shook that impossible thought from my head. Like that could ever exist.

I seriously liked this update!!! Swayam is not as flirty as i thought about him after reading the first chapter,I have read so many flirty swayam in other FF's, this one sounds saint 😆.. Here he is doing some healthy flirting sometimes shameless...
