The Story is in P.O.V of Sharon Rai Prakash
*3 days until Christmas…
I angrily tore up the cruise brochure my parents left behind as I rolled my suitcase all the way up to the big mansion they sent me to while they were gone. Another trip without me. Typical. But why was I sent to live with dad's boss and his son? And especially at Christmas time!
I sighed knowing there was nothing I could do about it. I stood up straighter and adjusted my white beret, on top of my shoulder length brown hair. I took a deep breath and rang the door bell.
The door suddenly opened to reveal a boy who looked a couple of years older than me. He was good looking with cooper brown smooth hair, while wearing an unbuttoned white collared shirt, showing off a very fit body. He took one look at me and gave a satisfied sideways smirk, showing off an adorable dimple. "You Sharon?" he asked.
"Yes." I said, trying not to stare at this gorgeous person.
"Phew." he said, "I'm sure glad you're cute." Before I had time to react, he pulled me into the mansion and wrapped his arm around me. "Now let's make this a memorable holiday." he whispered seductively.
What!?! "No way!" I pushed myself back enough to stomp on his foot with my heeled ankle boots.
"Ouch!" he immediately stepped away and rubbed his foot. Even though he was clearly in pain, he still managed to give a small smirk, "Feisty, aren't you?" I rolled my eyes.
"Aah. Sharon, you're here." Mr. Shekhawat, my dad's boss came down the hall sending me a happy smile, "I see you've already met my son, Swayam."
"Your son?" I asked.
"Yes. He's about 4 years older than you." Mr. Shekhawat said, "But anyway I'm glad you're going to be staying here for the holidays. I'm sure you and Swayam will have fun together." Swayam shot me a suggestive wink.
"Um, with you too, right?" I assured.
"Oh, well actually before you came today, I just got a business call and it turns out I'm not going to be here for a couple of days." Mr. Shekhawat confessed.
"Really?" I asked.
"I'm afraid so." he said with disappointment, "But I'm sure you and Swayam will have a wonderful Christmas together." I glanced at Swayam who gave me a mocking look. This is going to be the worst Christmas ever.
