Around two decades ago we saw a similar sword fight between Chandra and Nandini. Then she, despite being a princess, a queen, was brought to the Mehal as a Daima to the kid yuvraj Bindusar. Then he, in disguise, came as a veiled goon before her. Thinking he is there to kidnap the kid, she attacked on him with all her expertise of being a warrior queen of Magadh.
Then, it was the time for her test, her sincerity towards Magadh and Bindusar. He was there to challenge her. Though she succeeded, she was still an accused in a crime which she hadn't committed. .
Years later(in the show) , we saw the same Chandra in a similar disguise came to attack the same Nandini, but this time he was not testing her, but only giving his test to destiny. Here Nandhni though had lost her memory, took up the sword and faught with him with an unknown urge from within herself. She is the same warrior queen, with the same urge to destroy her enemy before her. Her sword is still her strength and courage. Then she faught for safeguarding the kid Bindusar, but now she needs to defend herself from the same Bindusar's attack, for now that she is his biggest enemy, on false perceptions. Though Chandra is aware of her sword fighting skills, her warrior qualities had never failed to astonish him, be it now or then.
But now that the destiny wheel has turned. In the premise of the current sword fight, despite being a Maharani, she believes herself to be a commoner, a Dasi of the same Mehal and is in no mood to accept the reality. Years before what she had yearned the most, what she deserved the most, that her acceptance and her innocense , today, she is denying the same. it is now his test, destiny is challenging him, his time to prove his love towards her, he is now facing the biggest challenge to prove herself to her.
Years before he had committed a mistake of distrusting his love and took the test of her honesty, for once.
Since then destiny is challenging him in the toughest way possible, to prove his love and dedication for her. He is taking the test one after the other, accepting toughest of the toughest challenges, he has travelled a decade alone with his inner turmoils and pains he had being going through lost in her thoughts, hidden from all or in other words, ignored by others. But still facing each challenge of the destiny with an ever present smile on his face. He never complains. His Nandini is with him is what all that he wants. He as a King, a warrior, had fought many great wars for his empire but the greatest of all the wars were that he fought with the destiny for his Nandini, for her to be with him, now time is testing him with yet another challenge by stealing her memories, but her memories of him are not stored in her mind, but is incarved in her soul and his heart knows the language of her soul . His Nandini being beside him, he will succeed, the hardest challenges of the destiny, be it this, or many more to come.
