Hi freinds...
This post I make only after reading lots of comment over Helena rights over Chandra and Chandra duties towards Helena... everyone have their view on that topic and so is mine... so i just want to share with you don't know weather you people are agree with me or not...
In today episode Chandra said to Nandini that he will not do anything without her permission (on physical relationship)
I'm not saying Helena is wrong to ask about her right over Chandra but Chandra is not wrong to say no Helena
Is marriage only about duties and right over each other that couple have
In general we women's want that husband or men should respect our feelings and it's about physical Intimacy also... if husband force his right on his wife without her permission is that right or women should surrender herself to her husband becoz it's her dutie to please u r husband.
it's a really very sensitive issue... if we talk about women's right and her feelings and her respect we should also consider mens views also...
Physical relation should be happened with with mutual agreement not becoz it's one's right and other dutie to have physical relationship towards each other
Here also chandra is not comfortable with Helena and it's not happened sudden after fall in love with Nandini it's happened before also when he is not fall in love with Nandini. He never comfortable with Helena about being physical yes he use Helena to make Nandini Jealous which is wrong but at that time also he is not fully ready...
Yes Chandra has a physical relationship with Dhurdhara also but it happened with mutual agreement whatever the reason CK ask for a Heir or not. Both didnt love eachother in that way but respevt eachother and have a mutual agreement on this matter
Yes Chandra loves Nandini and vice versa but both are not ready with physical relation right now I know in future it will happened but whenever it happened it's only becoz of mutual agreement... when both want it.. its not about right or duties
To make this post I only trying to say that if we want that mens respect women's feeling as a women we also respect mens view and feeling...

May be u r not agree with me but I still want that u share u r view... I hope u share it..
Thank you

Point is men has several options especially in those era when polygamy existed. In today's time if either of the partner disagrees to have a physical relation u can get divorce at tht ground but those times its not possible. Let me keep aside whether helena is good or bad, but as I woman wht is her choice if she wants to be a mother? Chandra has his choices. When he felt tht he should have a heir he went to duru but where will helena go? Today chandra is in love so he can't get into physical relation with helena he can make a choice but wht about tht wife? It's his moral duty as a king nd as I husband to give equal rights to all. When he can go to duru for the child why can't he give helena a child? Even in duru's time he wasn't ready but obviously a heir is necessary so he did his duty. Suppose helena isn't a vamp wht she is supposed to do now? Chandra made his choice he has 3 wives but wht choice does tht wife have whom the man doesn't love?
P.S.:- nd obviously I will be hated for this but truth is today so much discussion about man's feelings is happening bcoz it's expected tht the hero should be only with the heroine nd noone else even if thts his wife but if he had given helena her rights same chandra would have been blamed for betraying nandini.😆

Hey teddy a very vaery valid point and a very sensitive one as well I must say. So kudos for raising it.
What helena is doing to chandra if a man does that to a woman...he would be accused of marital rape! Agree helena has a right there but chandra equally has a right to say NO! when a women says no it means no...should apply to a man as well.

The problem is none of them is completely at fault or completely right. They just not get from where both of them comes from. Chandra is a man who would admire his lady love only after he has covered her modesty. The fact that she was bathing in barest possible clothing just beside him under the same water fall has no effect on his senses. While for helena carnal desires are raw plain needs...with emotions having a very little say in it.

Problem is not that chnadra doesn't lover her...problem is he is apathetic to her. When it comes to helena he feels nothing...not even respect!! when she madly screamed at dasi for interrupting them...it was so evident from his eyes (Rajat did a great job there in a nano second). and time and again naming her raw lust as mohabbat is not helping either. She should thank her yavani sena...so that chnadra is at least obliged to her at this moment. Helena has given up on chandra, she knows he loves nandini and now she is just not ready to understand that apart from love there are other emotions as well which can lay a corner stone for a relationship (frienship, respect empathy) ...and she should work on them. She has a chance to be a durdhara but she is loosing it as well

chandra's fault is that he is not taking any steps to make things right. Fine you don't want to give into her intimacy demands...but that really doesn't stops you from spending some time with her. Bring a token of thank you for her. And he can definitely try concealing his sheer disappointment evry time he sees her around him..But then the million dollar question...is helena ready to be so patient with chandra?

And no I don't feel that because chandra was so lovey dovey with her to annoy nandini gives helena any brownie points here...She was very well aware of the fact that he is just trying to make nandini jealous. She even accepted that she is fine with it to her mother (after chandra asks nandini to decorate the bathroom).

As a wife helena definitely has conjugal rights...but if she is denied of it, what exactly can she do about it. Its 4 BC...till 18th century there have been queens who just lost somewhere in the haram/ranivaas, weeping silently over their fate...yeah!! helena won't do it silently lots of bang bang of breakable stuff of palace. They have a very entangled relationship...which none of them is bothering to de- tangle. More than the physical intimacy they should be focusing on it...and helena should be the one making major efforts, because she is the one who needs it badly!!

I personally think that yes Chandra doesn't love Helena so he shouldn't be forced to live with someone he doesn't love. BUT what about Helena? She is not a 21st century chacrater who can divorce and move on.
Majority of the women are not like Durdhara who happily accept a crowded marrrige.

Even Nandini doesn't like Chandra with others so why is it a crime for Helena - who is the first wife according to this show - to want Chandra for herself? Chandra has Nandini but Helena doesn't have anyone else and neither will she be allowed to.
Try putting this the other way round. Helena would be shamed if she remarried or fell in love with someone else, Chandra even told her that she should only consider him as her husband no one else.
However, Chandra is encouagred to be with Nandini despite knowing he already has two wives.

If Chandra had asked a child from Helena, she would have little say to be honest. But he has full power to deny the same to her.

So if you turn the tables then it's rather sad to see the disbalance of power between a married couple. It's a show so I don't really care but in reality, this situation would've made my blood boil. I've studied The Tudors and I always find it sad to think women has no choice or authority over their husband.

If I was in helenas place, I could not share my love and worse, if I was denied my right as a wife (which not just includes love but also physical intimacy) then I'd leave Chandra. But the thing is that Helena is stuck in the olden days, she can't do this. She's just going to be mentally tortured for the rest of her life.
