Big hug aunty 🤗

An adda it sure is for the likes of us, and the most pleasantly stimulating one, truth be told!

Because sometimes I do visit that other "analysis" (?) thread in humor, and each time I cannot help but marvel at the girl's spirit of optimism. Rajat might have given up on the show, but she hasn't 😆

Although, more than her, there is this other forum member whose admiration for the show is plain truculent. She calls herself Munni, I don't know if that's her real name, because it's too docile for someone with that kind of a virtual disposition, and a rather grim, albeit aptly chosen Rajat image for dp 😛

The Tanu Khan fan comment was hilarious though 😆

Aunty, you are right in not returning to the show, it's in total ruins now, which is so sad given the fact that it had just started to build up to be a decent show since last month. These days Rajat looks exhausted, defeated rather, and I actually feel bad for him. As you said somewhere before, even the Jodha worshiping Jalal had worlds more "Jalal" (luster) about him, than this Chandra, who looks undeniably "grahan"ed.

I am hoping too that the show ends by it's 200th or 250th, at least that way the part-apathetic-part-curious ones like me would know for sure what finally happened in the CN universe. And honestly, I don't care so much about the CN love story anymore, mostly because nowadays I feel Nandini deserves better. I just want a proper, excruciating and wrathful Helena and Apama expose, that's all! For me, it'll be the most satisfying episode, and I shall watch it twice, with popcorn and fries 😆

This thread HAS to live on till then at least, I don't think the solo moderator even exists anymore, and I don't blame her 😆 So the page count may easily go up to 500, and that would definitely mean outliving the show itself 😆

I completely agree about Mohit Raina as well, who even till the end of that colossal chaos continued to look so convincingly involved. But aunty, somehow I have always loved the teen version of Asoka a lot more (don't know his name) than the adult one.

Although I really like Raina otherwise - especially as Mahadev - he was wow! DKDM had a brilliant cast mostly, no doubt - the best television versions of Mahadev, Narayan and Kartikeya especially. Because generally, in mytho shows like these, either they cast a wonderful Shiva and the Narayan is a let down, or viceversa.

But DKDM got BOTH just right...under the same roof (show) 👏

Accha, who do you think was a better Parvati, aunty? I liked Sonarika the most. God knows why she left.

Also, do you think Rajat should do another historical after CN?

My dear Joyee,

Welcome back!🤗

As for this thread, it is like Rider Haggard's She, ageless and immortal. It is also like the Bengali adda, a place for like-minded folk, who would be appalled by the gushing fangirling of the only other thread of episode analyses, to foregather and chit chat. As I have given up even watching the show, there is no chance of my opening a new thread to which they can migrate. So this one will never be allowed to die out unless it is a case of force majeure, in the shape of its being closed by the powers that be here.

As the mods - or the single person minding this anaemic excuse for a forum - are usually lax in the matter of the length of threads, I am sure that is unlikely to happen any time soon. So this will carry on well past 200 pages, and might even outlast the show.

Which is not a flight of fantasy, for I do not see how much longer the present farce of a script can be dragged on. Not more than 250, I would imagine. And we can last out till then, folks, can we not?😉

The other thing is that if we stay on this thread, with its very warm and admiring opening post, we will always be reminded of what Chandra Nandini was like till even a little over a month ago. I have never seen a show go from very good to pathetic over such a steep gradient. One lives and learns!

If only the TRPs would sink to 0.6, like those of the unfortunate Peshwa Bajirao, which is ten times better than this show, then the channel might give it a swift closure. But it hangs in there at 1.6-1.9, like an also ran, hovering between the first and the fourth from the bottom. God know when they will wind it up.

The worst part of this crash and burn, for me at least, is what you have just confirmed about Rajat's having simply given up. That was the real reason I quit, and you have reinforced my determination not to go back. It is very sad to see such a talent go to seed and be deliberately squandered.

It should not matter to Rajat, as this near flop show is hardly going to burnish his resume! And the way in which he is carrying on, he seems to know that the end is near, and he does not give a damn about it any longer. Whereas Mohit Raina, amidst the ruins of CAS, still tried his best till the very end and never allowed himself to look as if he did not care any longer. I admired him for his professionalism.

As for the Tanu Khan "affair", for one thing I do not think she has any fans here, and for another, as I wrote above, who cares?

Please visit fb and instagram, you can find many intersting fans of RT. just read those comments. NO wonder, how cn is getting trp of 2.0 everyweek.. Rajat must be really lucky to have these fans who worship him ardently. Why them even myself was a fan of cn and rt till couple of weeks ago.today I really dont fret about it much. If my mind says,i will see some glimpses on tv or just see wu in our forum But question is does he know these fans existence?i think he should atleastinteract with his sincerest fans who tolerate everything for him..

Just now i had a very nice intresting session from a die hard fan of rt it seems we people spread negativity?so Rt is getting insulted .. i dont understand her logic and i awestruck what made her say like that.
Cvs have understood the reality better than us i suppose

After sometime back in the forum..so want to say hello/hi to especially to you Aunty and to the other ladies/girls in this thread( well, as far as I know this is a one man thread 😆)
Dear Aunty I hope you are doing well and your mother''s conditions are almost out of risk and my good wishes are always with her.

It is absolute pleasure to see the tread is still alive and want that to last as long as possible. It is clear that all are very disappointed with the script+performances and I feel like I am going to record myself as the one who stayed with CN till the end of it 😃

Some more observations:

1. The original Bindu has been replaced by a younger looking kid. This one looks even more hapless and vulnerable 😳😳
2. Helena's wardrobe has finally been replenished with some: pink, peach and red. Adios white, yellow and maroon...for a while at least 😆 I must say, Helena the queen is too busy conniving to experiment with new cuts, falls and fabrics. Just keeps reordering on Snapdeal for the same outfit in different colours!

Hi everyone! So I have stopped watching the show. As far as the optimism of die-hard fans and their rose-tinted vision goes, nothing can diminish or sully its brilliance. It is better for us not to inflict our uncompromising viewpoints on them. I have always liked Rajat's acting in historical shows and watched his acting with interest. But my interest as far as this one goes had ended.

The show never rose after Chandra abdicated and ditched his people for Nandini as far as I am concerned. Perhaps I am not too young or I am too logical and sensible. Whatever it is, I can see the clear writing on the wall without the aid of any magnifying lenses to confirm it. This show will meander along like this without any story and then inch to its end. Nothing to expect from it. But all the same, it will be watched with interest by fans of Rajat and the lead pair even if they are currently sleepwalking through the ruins.

They will absolutely find something to gush over like, "How excellently Chandra sleepwalked without batting an eyelid, how awesome the curls of Nandini looked, how they will read a meaning in the blank expressions the lead pair is giving to their overwhelming love for each other and how they do not care what happens to the rest of the world, etc. What they see, we cannot guess; and what we fail to see, they do not understand how all this escapes us. A tragic star crossed tale of two sets of viewers!

Another thing which makes me to wonder by his fans,is when we criticize him, they label us as Paridhi fans..lol.

That girl who was arguing with me in other site, is not having any patience to listen my views at all. She went on bashing this that blah blah,,
I would like to know, if any person comes to limelight ,he is bound to criticism . It is nothing new ! even Great actors like MGR or Shivaji have their own sets of critics. Yet,they never yelled at them . This trend is something new these days.

Avantika, the reason many will love the show irrespective of anything and why some like us are disappointed lies in our approach. I will talk about myself. I love historical fiction. So I watch such shows more often than contemporary and reality based shows.

I appreciate Rajat Tokas because he acts such roles with remarkable ease and nuance. I first got round to watching him act because the show was on the life and times of Prithviraj Chauhan. So I watch for the history, the story, the narrative. So if the show disappoints there, even RT cannot redeem the show for me with his mere presence.

But for many of his fans, they watch historical fiction shows because RT acts in them not because they actually like historical fiction shows. They watch for a person and they are going to like it irrespective of even if the story has deteriorated. His mere presence is enough for them to watch a show.
