Sarika, it is a lastic not a skipping rod. I suspect that is the one he used to hit the beehive and got the honey for his foster mom.I found the moment when he was about to ask her if she had any ideas, right after Dadi-with-hole-in-dupatta left, and she makes a face and walks back to the sofa. It was cute, both of them.God I thought, for a moment, something wrong with my eyes as I,too, saw it but couldn't realize. And I cannot decide whether Roopa's sundar or Nandini's vaanar is more apt for him😆😆. Soon they will both making him a pagal sundar vaanar. 😉🤣 Never mind who or what ever he is... we all ❤️ him

If I had previously said that I would like for this Roopa track to end soon, I would like to change my wish a tad bit. Perhaps the misunderstanding bits can end soon, but I rather now wish Roopa will stay beyond episode 100. For one, she is definitely a fresh break from the tear-pooled-eye Nandini, and as I suspected and hoped, Chandra's head is already starting to spin thanks to her flirtatious insinuations. 😆
Coming to the main jodi though, I cannot make sense of their face-offs that is so intense it has me gripping my seat, nor their playful ease that they have with each other. It is like Jekyll & Hyde and Gajini got married and had kids!😲
Now let's look at some of the nasties that Chandra had bestowed upon Nandini😡
1. I have only two wives, Helena and Dhurdhara
2. Vivah Vichched (??? I am going to start a list of "Chandra says the dumbest things" and this will be my first entry)
3. Throwing her out of the palace
4. And the worst today "kitne the?"
I do agree with your deduction that Nandini is so in love with him that neither she fights him, nor she is able to deny him anything. I find this trait of hers, as exasperating as it is, a breather from the usual clash of ego or female self-glorification that is almost a must in all female lead characters of soap operas. However, it still does not make sense that she would waltz in there casual as if she just came from a good pedicure and talk so extremely normal' to him.
Where is the fuming and fury of being insulted?😔
And Chandra - all this while he had been blowing his top just by hearing Helena/Aaapama/Malay say negativity about Nandini. It was their words against her with no solid proof. But this time he saw with his own eyes Nandini (a.k.a Roopa) enter Malay's room and go as far as telling him that the vrat is for Malay and not Chandra. It resulted in that epic blowout, in which he both exploded outwards to her and shattered him into pieces inwards. Hardly there was time to pick up the pieces, when Roopa jumps on him and startles him with the sundar remark. As I said before, as angry as he is, he most definitely yearns for her attention. However, one does not expect that it would have immediately remedied the scene of her, arms on Malay, telling that she is keeping the vrat for him. It is a fresh wound, rubbed with salt moreover when he watched her applying lep on Malay. Yet, he turns comic the very next immediate moment when she returns to the room?
I think the CVs are having not had too much madura or bhang; they probably are having a weed party and must have written yesterday's script in the fog of the smokes!
We may perhaps attribute their lack of grudge or resentment on the ugliness that just passed moments ago, on their budding love that is taking strong hold on them. As much as a world apart both maybe, they have one thing in common...this is their first love and both seem to have got themselves into a mess of loving the very person they ought to be hating with their gut. The whole loving your sworn enemy is very confusing and intimidating at times. And with no outlet to cry it out or ask for help, both are on the same board with some fierce waters about them.
The sense of rejection on both parts is making them act it out - Chandra as this Lord of Nasties, and Nandini as Madam Wimpy. They have this arguments, in which Chandra yells himself deaf and Nandini stands like a rock in the river (aathula potta kaal); and the sense of need makes them get pulled back to each other, for as much as he yells and as much as she cries, every moment of being with each other is precious. Every word, every look, every touch is treasurable so much so they just jump at the opportunity like how she without missing a beat looks at the finger marks and goes are you in pain, are you hurt' all the while examining him with feather light touch. On his part, he does not wince nor push her away. He could have, in fact should have, especially after he had convinced himself she had cut her nail so that Malay will not get hurt, but had deliberately hurt him.
I want to both hug them and tell them you poor souls' and clobber them to pulp. Their heart and eyes are for each other and but they are so dense that they cannot see beyond their own conclusion (Chandra thinks she loves Malay, and she thinks he wants Helena) to the fact that the other is showing all the signs they are looking for - like Chandra's pooled eyes when he was screaming I hate you because...". If he loathed her, why would he cry? Or her telling him that she feels bad looking at the love' marks on Helena. Why would she care who Chandra is scratching if she has eyes for Malay.
They are lovable, and in love and they make me want to run to the mountains yelling BAS!

AuntyThe episodes are oscillating between big bang and a big crunch where the viewers should, by now, adapt themselves to the periodic movement 😃. Anyway love the yesterday's episode specially the heart touching moment when Chandra talks about his old stuffs. Suddenly he became like a boy once he saw that skipping rod 😳I have one doubt to be sort out so soon. Is Roopa going to insert her self in to the stack of those who are falling for Chandra? She mentioned that she has no shathruta with Chandra and telling him that he is handsome, as he is, not a problem. Is this a hint for the forth coming love twist?

Well, this is the rebooted harem ki mallika contest in Jodha Akbar. I should have known it was coming along. What I want to know is how Chandra can actually swallow that drunken dance without strangling Nandini post facto. In his place, that is what I would have done for inflicting this horrendous public humiliation on him.Instead he merely votes against her? This is trivialisation with a vengeance!Shyamala Aunty

Well, Akka, I am not sure about this one. You make me sound like that term I detest, a fangirl, which I most emphatically am NOT, apart from being totally age inappropriate for it!😉I love Rajat as an actor and I praise him when he deserves it, which is 90% of the time, and I do it in extenso because I can dissect expressions and have a good command over words. But I have praised Mohit Raina almost as much when he did exceptionally well. And I like Manish Wadhwa almost as much for sheer acting ability though he is devoid of Rajat's glamorous looks.**So please do not slot me like this! And no, I am not upset, I only want to get things straightened out.Shyamala
