Thanks- I am glad you liked the thread as well as shared your comments. The power Helena will have is super interesting and her dynamics with both Nandini and more interestingly Durdura , as Chandra has a strong bond since childhood with Durdura.

The actor playing Helena has surrendered herself to Director's vision. She is not questioning the rational of character with reference to history. She must have been beautiful to entice someone like CGM in real life and a very aristocratic lady. But here she is all rough and tough. But I like her portrayal. There is a danger she may become a real vamp in later parts of serial depending on TRPs. 😆 But I am enjoying her now - She does seem to have a screen presence even if she is a by-stander, as some one said.

Chandra is the one who amazes me . He simply makes it worthwhile to watch the repetitive ones. Not sure why Malayketu had to come and rescue once again. This is a tangent from History. They wanted to bring Nandini sacrifice angle. I hope he makes it the third time around, which means Nand and 9 sons are going to be around for a short time only.

That Oyily (Tamil word) who scares Nand is a good addition. Whether she will stay beyond Nand's death is the question - what is she going to spill on ? I am also waiting. If it is about the 9 sons and him being a barber in his earlier avtar, it is surprising that no one has done these talks in hush hush mode in the whole palace till now. But then Nandini has always kept her PM(Pita Maharaj) on a pedestal. I think this character could be revealing a lot about Nand instead of CGM to her so that she gets to slowly understand her dad's true pic.

Rest is all fine. CGM - Helena equation is going to totally non-physical. Infact she may get power hungry in the future and that will be one of battles CGM will fight. 😆

Though real Helena may have been different, for the purposes of this story Helena beging rough and tough seems to be the reason Chandra wil like her- in fact, he does mention how he has never met a woman like her and respects her. She already seemed to be quite comfortable with him the way she cupped his face and comforted him. It seems quite the bond forming.

On Nandini, she may seem rudderless at the moment, but right now her ship seems to be sailing in only one direction- saving her Pita Maharaj, even if it is a route she doesn't like.

It seems odd Nandini does not have any doubts on her father - given his background and first wife, and his actions now.


And I think they showed Chandra losing multiple times for his hate and frustration for Nandini to increase as we so with the hallucination.

Agreed Sunanda and Helena are the spunk of the week- it is nice to see Sunanda give Nand a taste of his own medicine. Helena continues to go strong and we shall see how long it lasts.

On rotineeti, its part and parcel of Ekta's version of historicals- though the one tweak you recommended would have made a big difference. It looks like all women have bionic powers to comment on this war ... it is becoming as annoying as the media 😆
