As for Nand, there are very odd, discordant corners in even the blackest villains. In his case, it is not just his love for his daughter. It is also that he wants Mura to accept him whole-heartedly, and is willing to stand all her insults, day in and day out, for fully 9 years, in the hope of finally gaining it. That too is totally out of character, but there it is!

Finally Avantika got her Prasad & she would be the next to curse nand after mura .

Chandu was here & he really loves his adopted mother but the bhari bharkam dialogues which came afterwards about love was not needed , yes by looking at the condition of his mother...the grudge forming inside him towards the idea of love would be ok .

Surprisingly , I liked the way he covered himself with shawl of blazing fire...though it was filmy still I liked it .

Also , one thing I cannot understand about Nand...is it really possible for a person like him to love his daughter so genuinely 😲 , the way he is portrayed here as someone so abominable , a mercenary & who hardly respects women...this daughter wala pyaar is surely a special case .

Yes, my dear Amina, that last line of yours about Nand and Mura is the most likely solution to that puzzle. As Sandhya had pointed out, he has now transferred that longing to Nandini.

I do wish, however, that Mura would be a bit easier on the eyes and ears. She is anything but!
But no, I do NOT like Chandra's idiotic foster mother. For two pins, I would banish her from the show!
