I know that re. He is one complex character. He vowed never to marry . So that's ok. But I didn't like his and Laila relation. In fact in IPKKND too Arnav had lavanya...he was clear in his stand that they'll never marry. Later Khushi changed him. But here situation is totally different.

Dekho he may not confess but he loves Tara from childhood. When you love someone so deeply and selflessly you can never be physical with anyone .
